  1. I shoot nothing but #8 light target loads that are 1145-1150fps and have never had a failure... that's without speedbolt. The low recoil slugs I have shot are federal and I believe Remington, also no problems. Due to the idea brought up by dchang0 I will be testing 2 bolt handles. One that is lighter to match weight of existing handle and one solid, heavier one... see what we find.
  2. I have had the same performance. My Vinci will cycle any light loads including slugs... I have searched and cannot find out the actual weight added to the speed bolt.
  3. That problem sounds very strange. My Vinci cycles the low recoil slugs along with everything else and that is with the extended tube. The new bolt handle will be both larger and heavier. Everyone seems to want it at least a little larger.
  4. I have been running my Vinci for a year and am completely in love. Have not had one failure and the recoil is so smooth and straight back that I believe you can shoot faster with this shotgun than any other. The opening of the reloading port was so easy to do on my own which saved me the $200 that a shop would have cost me to do the work. Anyone with a dremmel or similar tool (one friend used hand files only) can do this work. The extension tubes from Roth are great and Nordic is supposed to be releasing theirs soon. The lack of other upgraded parts has been a frustration which is what led to our launching into this project to develop some. On a final note... when I got this Vinci I decided I wanted to see how often cleaning was necessary (the 930 pro I had before was a nightmare to clean and had to be done every 200-250 rounds to keep it running). To date I have cleaned NOTHING but the bore on this gun... 14-15 matches and thousands of rounds!! I am blown away and cannot recommend the Vinci or Super Vinci enough.
  5. Just a teaser for all you Vinci shooters... Enhanced/Extended Bolt Release, Bolt Handle, and Safety are in production! I will post an announcement when the first ones are ready.
  6. Its still under design but I noticed when reaching over with my weak hand to slide in my match saver round and close bolt that its tough to hit that release mainly due to it being small and it does not protrude out far so you really have to mash it in almost flush with the frame. So we are going to alleviate that.
  7. According to my info those parts are the same on the Tactical. Thank you for your reply!
  8. I say save a little longer and go with the Vinci. The Inertia drive is amazing but there are definite advantages to the Benelli. The M3000 is limited due to design as to how much work can be done around the loading port and as it sits stock it needs work to truly be smooth with twins and quad loads. There is no need for modification on the magazine tubes, Nordic and other companies make Vinci extensions now. The Vinci is lighter and much much easier to do mod work to around the port.
  9. Having already been down the 930 road i would throw in my 2 cents and say DONT. Even if it had not had problem after problem the constant cleaning (and its not a quick process) is a nightmare. After 200-300 rounds the carbon build up would be so bad it would start having light primer strikes due to the bolt not being able to seat fully (there are other threads out there explaining this exact issue better than my red-neck self can). Long story short i but the bullet and got a Benelli and could not possibly be happier. I went with the Vinci and it was a fantastic option. i have not had a single failure in over 2000 rounds, i was able to easily do any and all mod work due to the polymer stock and no serial number in a bad place. Recoil is minimal and its surprising since the shotgun is so light, my brother runs a VersaMax which weighs way more and the Vinci wins the recoil battle.
  10. Hello all. I would like to hear from those who currently own, plan to own, or even just contemplating owning a Benelli Vinci or Super Vinci. We are currently developing an extended Bolt Catch, Bolt Handle, and Safety for the Vinci. I know i have heard so many people asking about them and have been seeing more and more of the Vinci models on the racks at matches. I personally shoot a Vinci and am in love. If you fall into one of the categories above please reply with whether or not you would be interested and if one of the three items is more appealing please specify that as well. Thanks!!!!
