I have been using e3 powder in my 40, with 180gr bayou. and I like it. wish it metered slightly better

On both my 9 and 40.

I run into that problem. It's my grip.. My left hand is causing it.

I love both of my xdm 9 and 40 competition.

I was running 180 bayou over 3.8 gr of e3 powder. Worked pretty good for me.

I have tinkered with xdm's and that glock 20, which I regret. Another kid on the way. Think I may just pay it and get it done right. That way my shooting season won't suffer. Thanks for all the input guys.

Well as soon as I sell my glock 20 that I built. I will probably put my name on the list for a cts in a 40

I don't have a shop around that carries cz. I like the smaller grip. I have been shooting an xdm in limited and have the smallest back strap on it. I also think if I am going to take the leap toward a custom gun like the cts, I will do the accu bushing.

I am looking at ordering a cts 40 for limited. I have shot sti and accu shadow and like both. I want to try a cz, and was wondering if it's worth going with cts with the accu bushing. Thanks

Cool. That's re assuring. That's kinda what I was leaning towards...is the universal clays clean burning ? Have ya ever tried the Alliant e3?

I am going to order a Kkm Barrel in a 40 conversion for Uspsa.. I just want to load the bullet far enough out to be 100% reliable in a 10mm mag. I was thinking 1.180 to 1.20 oal. I will also call kkm soon to see what they recommend.

Thank you for the info and experience. The reliability during competition was my concern mostly. I was reading a thread on using Allianzt E3 powder cause it burns cool and very clean. I have titegoroup and win231 on hand now. I will also call kkm and see what they recommend when I get ready to order the barrell.

I have been searching some forums and found some guys loading out to 1.180, and one was loading 1.200. I know I am asking a lot out of the gun this way. I am just trying to lay out everything before I start putting it together.

I am building a Glock 20 10 mil with 40 conversion barrel 6 inch long slide for USPSA limited with major power factor. How far out can I load the OAL and still be safe? I will be ordering a KKM barrel and thought about having them ream the chamber to what my oal will be. Thanks
