    KKM Barrel vs Stock Barrel test

    Can't tell from the picture which group is better. But the Kkm group seems high. Can u adjust your sights?

    Besides the one flyer - the stock barrel grouped better. I don't have adjustable rear - I have the Sevigny sights. They seem dead on for the stock barrel.

    After reading great reviews on the KKM from so many people, I got one for my G34 Gen4.

    I took it to the range today and want to see if my groups would improve, and if it ran my ammo OK. I shoot Atlanta Arms & Ammo 9mm 147gr reloads (130pf on a G17).

    I shot 100 rounds from a bench rest at 25 yards, and took precise trigger pulls. I shot about 40 from the Stock Barrel and 60 from the KKM. I took about 5 shots to the berm with the KKM before shots on target.

    I was aiming for the bulls-eye on all shots.

    It seems to me, my G34 likes the Stock barrel better. Anyone else experience this?

    ZEV doesn't have a STANDARD FULCRUM. They do have Fulcrum and a Standard Competition bar which has pre set pre travel that is not user adjustable and per new rules as to my understanding in conversation with Mr. Ray from IDPA HQ is not SSP legal either due to reduced pre travel while trying to get wording on my kit for SSP. Also to my understanding from the governing body of USPSA they have never truly submitted and trigger for approval in any sport.

    Glocktriggers.com's edge kit is banded from IDPA SSP because of reduced pre travel and I will assume if one contacts Mr. Ray he will say the same about the ZEV bar.

    I can't find anything in the current rule book about pre-travel in SSP. I only see rules like:

    8.2.1.3. SSP Permitted Modifications (Inclusive list):

    8.2.1.3.7. Internal action work may be used to enhance trigger pull as long as safety is maintained (no visible external modifications allowed).

    8.2.1.3.8. Internal reliability work.

    8.2.1.4. SSP Excluded Modifications (Non-Inclusive list):

    8.2.1.4.1. Externally visible modifications other than those listed in the Permitted Modifications section.

    8.1.7. Non-IDPA-Legal Modifications for All Divisions

    8.1.7.5. Disconnecting or disabling of any safety device including (but not limited to): manual safeties, grip safeties, firing pin, striker, and hammer blocking safeties, etc.

    To me, that means internal trigger work is permitted, as long as modifications are not externally visible and all safeties are in working order.

    .245" Sevigny Front: POI way too low...

    Update: I spoke to Dawson as well and they do recommend their .230" front with a .250" rear, so I ordered one to test out. The .230 front shoots high for me at 25 yards with AAA ammo. The Sevigny .245 is POA/POI.

    I need to adjust my rear sight to the left slightly, but this is bench rested from 25 yards using 147gr at 130pf using the Sevigny rear and Sevigny .245" front:

    Short & Light SSP/Production Trigger

    I currently use the Zev standard trigger kit in the competition configuration, which has a shortened pre-travel that is not adjustable. I'm only able to get a 4lb trigger pull with a gauge, using a 4lb striker spring, lightened striker, light plunger spring, heavy trigger spring and various connectors.

    Firing Pin Safety Wear?

    Running the Glockworx Zev striker and firing pin safety. The firing pin safety is getting pretty rough around the mid-section and also on top of the cone.

    Is this normal wear for 1500 rounds?

    Grip & Slide Stop Issues

    Which hand?

    I made this for another shooter with some grip challenges while back. I essentially ride my strong hand thumb on my weak hand.

    Thanks, that video was very helpful. I am right handed and my right thumb is the culprit. I need to train myself to keep it on top of my support hand.

    Grip & Slide Stop Issues

    On my G34, it seems my grip is preventing the slide stop lever from locking the slide back on the last shot.

    I have already tried installing the standard (non-extended) slide stop, but that did not help.

    Any suggestions?
