Thanks....... nope never tried a TS. Had a elite limited that was nice. I like the look of the EAA Gold Team but all those holes scare me a little lol. Do 9mm 124g coated blue bullets work for 9mm major? Have a bunch of those already. Also have about 18lbs of CFE Pistol sitting here. I was hoping those two would work for the time being. I'm at the age where my eyes are giving me trouble and thought Open might be just the ticket and loads of fun. I really know very little about open guns but saw this one and it sounds nice. However, since the barrel is shorter, is it it going to be harder to make major with a 9mm case? What are the draw backs of a shorter barrel design? I don't want a gun that's going to be hard to keep running well. Are the 170mm 26 round mags really $130?! Is the Czechmate a pretty good option for open? I've been toying with the idea of trying open and can't decide which way to go. The traditional STi body or the CZ or Tangfolio options.

They're putting up $400,000. Who knows how much they will actually have to payout. They chance to win some money in an almost zero cash payout sport may draw some people to switch to a PPQ Q5. I put in the light trigger return spring and the light firing pin block and holy crap what an awesome trigger. Breaks at 3lbs now!

I just got the Q5 with a FF3 optic. Never tried a red dot before. What a blast! I ordered the springs to get the trigger weight down to around 3.5lbs. Also got the taran tactical +5 base pads. Next plan to get a stainless steel guiderod and a 13lb spring. I'm using some left over 124g Montana Gold JHP's. I'll be out soon and will be using blue bullets. Do guys recommend 147g with a red dot? Guess I could get some sample packs of the 124g, 135g, and the 147g and see which I like best.

What PF do you get out of that??? I loaded 1.100" with 3.6g of TG and got 129PF out of it. I would think 3.9g would be fairly hot.

I hope so. Looks very nice! The video I saw from shot the guy said late Feb. release. We'll find out very soon.
