  1. Thanks all for the Info, ordered my hammer today Luke
  2. AzShooter, was it hard to do it yourself, did it take alot of fitting, is it a stay at home project? Luke
  3. Linda, And the crew of RO, and all the other people that work their butt off to make this happen, THANK YOU ALL, this was my first trip to SC and I can say without a double I will be back. You realy had a great crew put together. Luke

Hop, Thank you for the kind words, this is why I play this game with this group, the people. you win your first stage and it makes you hungry for more, but it also tells you that it can be done. Luke
  5. It was a realy good match. The randy lee Ti/ 625 just wanted to run, so I let her go, it was a full time job just keeping it pointed in the right direction and loaded. There was no time to Aim. I was real lucky that I keep my footing and did not just get dragged around the stage. Funny to watch when it happens to some one else, kinda embarassing when it happens to you.
  6. And that is my life it only hurts for the first couple of months, then you get use to it. Luke
  7. Keith, I think what your looking for is Randy to perform a blood sacrifice, using the dreaded and much feared California Ground Squire. I am told all the top shooters are having this done.
  8. The revo was flawless in its exicution, the nuckel head pulling the trigger made all the problems. Luke
  9. Randy, I hope you loaded up more than one Bang and lots of fast A's, or was that extra...
  10. revchuck, I have had real good luck with 5. grains of Unique, I am using 158 grain Raineer RN bullet, built to 1.43 OAL with a good crimp. Hope this helps Luke
  11. Ok all. We have posted about the good, the bad, now it it time for the ugly, what does a Revo shooter put in a range bag or on their person to keep evil spirts, competiter hexas, and the Boogey man or woman at bay. So lets hear it, the spiderman uderwear, the luck rabbit's foot, or that last silver bullet you save for yourself. Luke
  12. Squibby, Just ordered one, fantastic Luke
  13. Aerosign, To tell true, I am not sure the moon clip is faster than the comp 3, I think that with enough practice, eather one will work, but the learning curve for the moon clips is faster. I have found that the unloading is faster with the moon clips cause everything comes out at once, I have had the evil brass under the star, like what happend at the last stage in the South Florida match , problem is there's just no "gracefull" way of getting around that. Moon clips makes brass recovery easy, with fewer losses. I do have my 686 cylinder polished and chamfered, I think it is a must have for this type of shooting. Over all I do enjoy the change I made, and would do it again. However, the question comes up why not just buy a 625, and be done with it. For me, 686 is a better fit, the way it points, frame size, grips and all the little things that go into making a revolver that YOU enjoy to shoot, because you are going to be spending lots of time with it. Luke
  14. Aerosign, I also shoot a 686 6inch, I had Clark cut the cylinder for moon clips (took about three week) I am using Tk custom moonclips in it and remington brass, and have had zero problems, as for my minor load I am using the Raineer 158gr round nose, with 5 grains of unique, it will chrono about 850 a little hot for minor but does not give problems with droppen steel. Hope this helps Luke
  15. OK, we have posted on the things that improve your game, now lets chat about those dark unspoken things that will mess with it. Hammer Light strike, squib, false starts and good looking Blond in a t-back collecting brass.
  16. A question, What one thing, be it skill, gear, ammo, grip, girlfriend....ect that has made the most dramatic change in your shooting?
  17. I am in...great fun last year, I hope we can get a squad together.
  18. It may be a bit before we hear anything, it is going to be some time before they get power back, and services get restored.
  19. That is a matter of Opinion or is it position
  20. I just want to add this bit of information, I shoot with Cliff, on most Tuesday nights at a local indoor range we set up a stage. Now Cliff is the number one shooter most nights, We do have a couple of guys that can make him work for it. But since Cliff took delivery of his revolver that Randy has done, no one been able to come close to catching him. Gear helps, will it turn a C shooter into a Grand Master, No. But it will allow a shooter the oportunity for fractional improvement that can get them though a sticky spot and continue to improve their game. Lets face it this is not a cheap hobbie. It is lots of fun, with great people, and cool toys and a fantastic way to spend a weekend, maybe see some parts of the country that you would never go on your own. Sign me up for one 625-E.
  21. Cliff, it realy looks like you are just hitting your stride, Congrats Luke.
  22. Cliff congrats, I know that it means alot to your to step up you always got to give the respect to the stealth Ninja revo he will strike then fade to black, hahahah a MASTER
  23. Now Cliff, We all know that your just waiting for the right time to strike. you know like a Revo Ninja in the dead of night.
  24. From all the Way in Florida, A big well done Sam, and now you have it all Great looks and the card to prove it , Now you need to start a Revo school so men can flock to your door step and Learn from the Master.
