  1. And here's a picture of what I did to modify my holster. Like CZinSC I dremeled a channel in the holster, quick and easy.  Because of the thickness of the Nitro-fin, I needed to insert spacers so that it would clear the Tech Lok.  Fits perfectly.  Wouldn't work with my Boss hanger unless I wanted to cut some steel (or buy longer fasteners, and do the same thing with spacers between the holster and hanger).

  2. Just installed mine.  Fits the gun perfectly.  Aesthetics are very nice.  With only a few reps my support thumb lands in just the right place and the sight alignment is on the money.  I plan to mod a Bladetech holster similarly to make it fit.  As CZinSC says, this will not lock the slide on the last round.  Looking forward to taking it for a test drive tomorrow!!

I've shot a borrowed one in Steel competition and thought it was a good start but was told at the time (by a Kriss rep) that an upgraded version with a real forearm (rather than barrel sleeve) was in the pipeline.  I haven't checked back but I'd keep an eye out for that upgrade before I'd get the current version, though I believe the forearm might already be an aftermarket item.   Yes mags dropped free but since it was only steel I couldn't comment on more than that.

Thanks!!  I've been going through the same motions as others trying to determine the best fit for PCC and there's limited content about the Kriss.

I have a Kriss Vector 9mm carbine that I'll be using for PCC. It uses Glock mags and is very accurate. The Gen 2 Vectors seem to not have any of the problems the Gen 1's had. Some of my friends are picking up ATI AR 9mm carbines to use. We'll see how we do!

Any update on how the Kriss worked out for PCC?  Wondering about mag changes, do the mags drop free?  Likes, dislikes?

  5. I switched from 147's to 124's for my Stock II's recently Gump, and really like them. I'm running Montana Golds and using N320 so my data won't really help you, but I think you're going to like the 124's for exactly the reason you're wanting to switch. Cycles fast and drops in the notch consistently.

  6. I can confirm for a fact now that I've received my 40 Ultra match that these are the factory magazines that come with the Ultra match 40. Tested them all today and they all work great.

Magazine Info for the PRO MATCH 40 ULTRA;https://advancedtactical.com/products/magazines/.40sw/ria-full-size-1911-a-2-magazine-high-cap-15-rnd-40sw-10mm

Armscor directed me here when I asked to purchase extra magazines. I ordered 5, but haven't received any or my pistol yet to test them. Hope this helps.

Here are some pics of the mags. They measure .930ish so they should drop free.2h4ja5h.jpg9742ud.jpg23wofm0.jpg

Did you put extended basepads on these? Will the Dawson's fit?

  7. That's why I'm looking for a Stock 2 in .40. I have a pair in 9mm and would like to try limited, but don't want to be crushed by minor power factor scoring. I know, I know, just shoot all Alphas and you don't have to worry about it..... Right. Having one in .40 keeps me on the same familiar platform. Nothing against the 2011's, they're great. I just like the Tanfo platform.
