  1. The one that has the larger flatter surface before it starts to curve The curves around the edge will be steeper.. Thats how I remember it atleast
  2. #13 pound will pop Tula all day.. been using them for a few batches.. problem is you get a few tula's that are just either bad, or only pop on DA .. its lie 1/100.. its annoying but I wouldn't suggest using them in a match you care about placement. CCI with #13 All day everyday
  3. Wow thats so cheap..places around me are saying they need to strip my tubes and re-annodize and talking like $150.. I need to look around a bit more.
  4. I only use misprinted $100 bills.. otherwise I use I have my bag caddy do it for me.
  5. Just picked it up from a local gun store yesterday.. No fancy backdrop needed.. the Accu Shadow is fancy enough .
  6. Just looking to get some of my 3 gun gear anodized, some of it getting beat up as expected, so thought about getting it anodized another color anyways. Anyone know of people who will anodize extension tubes and so on? And the average cost?
  7. Dont you shoot a CZ as well? How do you like them for 3 gun? and abandoning them with safety or mag dump for that type of gun?
  8. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/862846/smith-and-wesson-magazine-s-and-w-m-and-p-9mm-luger-10-round-steel-blue 10 Round ones available here.
  9. So I called S&W for an update on my Striker assembly because of an upcoming match. The rep in the accessories department literally put my name on an envelope and sent it that day and had it in 4 days. The left my original order open which came in the same day just for an additional striker to have as back up .. Great people. Great service, I have a Gen 2 barrel so I don't think I will see too much improvement if any with a KKM. Im sure I have some work I need to do as an Indian before I start blaming my arrow
  10. Is it pretty much impossible to find a SP-01 Shadow non custom? Just one to buy and work on yourself as you see fit? I know the SP-01 is hard to find sometimes as well but I see a few locally sold from person to person. Never at an actual gun store.
  11. That is tempting but that is a good deal on the versa max though, and it has a tube on it already since its a tactical no? Also 545 plus tax +80 for a tube, weld the lift gate, open the loading port, change the sight? Am I missing something else? If you plan on doing all that yourself then great! But if not the versa is pretty close to out of the box ready correct? I have to go find pictures.
  12. This is going to be a great event looking forward to it!
  13. yeah I have one I was going to use for 3 gun, I shoot CZ but thought a striker might suit me better since the grip angles were pretty darn close (plus I already have the TTI Basepads for it). But my striker broke and apparently they are on back order from S&W and it will be a while before they can get one out to me they said. (Warranty is great, just sucks they dont have the part to replace for it LOL) Wish someone had aftermarket titanium or some crazy goodness that would last longer and perhaps be more reliable I guess its only a matter of time
  14. Any reason everyone is dumping their M&P's every time I get an email its another M&P up for sale. Also... Anyone come out with or coming out with some aftermarket strikers?
  15. I would like to know what that spring kit actually does in terms of trigger pull weight and reset and all that other good stuff.
  16. The ones I got from Amazon B's dummy rounds.. They are pretty solid, the weight is there and all that other good stuff. My only beef with them is they are pricey. You get 9 for around $30 and you can choose from various colors. But I still treat them as live rounds, but I am going good to color the brass black that seems like a good idea.
  17. I used the links above I think the 3rd link down had some good pictures.. To be honest though I didnt even take the carrier latch out of the gun, all I did was polish it using a felt bit on a dremel, and I only polished the part where the shell makes contact with the carrier latch, (the part where it starts to bend up. Then after that it helped a little then i just started to load and it started to soften up. I enver did the "bend a U" thing. although I may if it doesnt get even softer than it is now, not quite where I want it but I haven't loaded but for like 20 min straight and it is already getting easier and easier.
  18. Quote from Eric Grauffel on Target focus over Sight focus... he goes further into detail but basically uses target focus unless he has no Dot or F/O if it is true iron sights then he uses sight focus.... basically said something along the lies that he uses fiber optic like a red dot.. But then again not all of us are Eric Grauffel? This came off the IPSC Global Village Forums: Eric Grauffel, on 14 Jan 2009 - 7:48 PM, said: Like I do, then you have a good point. It is not an easy question, but I'll try to answer it the best I can. Yes I am an open shooter but about 40% of the ammos I burn per year are done in Standard/limited. First, for me there is no half focus on sight or target, either you focus on one or the other one. For me the focus must be on the target, otherwise as you mention it will be hard to call your shots. Now it comes, Do I shoot both eyes open, or one eye closed. The first answer would be: " your call, it's a shooter preference", knowing than when you reach a certain distance, most of the shooters will close 1 eye. Now, what I personnly do: in between 0 to 15 meters, I shoot both eyes open. Over 15 meters, I close one eye. If I have a tight shot with a PT under 15 meters, I will also close one eye. Hope this helps
  19. Found my answer once I figured out what it was called lol nevermind!
  20. I think it's called the Carrier Latch actually that I can't get the lip of the shell past without some sort of resistance. the loading doesn't feel smooth because of it.
  21. Found this on another forum I had the same question but it wasn't really answered... can someone help me out? Its not that I am looking to open up the loading port.. The Rim of the shell can't seem to make it past the retainer bar that keeps the shells in the gun.. "My new M2 is extremely difficult to put rounds in the magazine. You have to force them in with your thumb so hard that your thumb travels a half inch down the tube. I compared it with three other shotguns I had handy and they all take shells with little to no effort. The issue seems to be getting the rim of the shot shell past the magazine retainer lever. There is no unusual resistance until the shell reaches that point so it's not the follower or the mag tube itself. Anyone else seen or heard of this?" Do you guys polish the part mentioned above as well? And whats the actual name for this part LOL
  22. Plus I would probably get the white ones and write dummy all over it and draw all sorts of colors on it to make it as obvious as possible as a double precaution. But I am sure accidents still happen regardless what you do, so back to my previous statement
  23. probably a best practice to always treat it like its live whether or not correct? Dont ever get careless because you "think" it's a dummy round no?
  24. http://www.amazon.com/Bs-Dry-Fire-Snap-Caps/dp/B00FM8GE1E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1386482697&sr=8-1&keywords=dummy+12+gauge+rounds These are about as good as I think it can get.. about to order some myself to give it a try.. come in different colors
