  1. Nice work! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Don't let them scare you away! We have 2-3 month of hot weather but 9-10 months of great weather! I've never regretted moving to PHOENIX - moved here in 1991 and never looked back! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  3. Love mine! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Where did you find Clays?! Congrats!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Brand new to the AR15 scene. As I'm watch youtube videos all of them seem to be able to push their pin out easily with their fingers - I haven't been able to and I've ate my wheaties! Haven't tried a punch yet. Is that a good thing? Anything to be concerned about? Will it loosen up with time?
  7. Looking for load data on Hornady XTP 200gr and Clays? Not seeing anything in the references - anyone have experience? Help appreciated!
  8. Excited to try the WST now! Thanks guys!
  9. Thanks guys! As a matter of fact I put all of them thru a Lyman 9mm case gauge before putting them in the MTM boxes. I think the loading longer and heavier grains is a good idea. Now that I think about it, the last one to fire in the mag didn't lock the breach open like it should! Brand new G17 gen 4 gun. Any other pointers? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  10. I'm having issues with running my reloads in the Glock and Sig 226. I reloaded some 9mm with Accurate No. 5 5.0 grains at 1.140 and had multiple feed issues. I tried 5.2 grains as well with same issue. Is there a rule of thumb for 9mm reloads? I know on the .45 if I load it at 1.250 I have no issues on anything so far. Any insight would be appreciated!!! If you have favorite loads for Clay's, 700X, Titegroup for this same bullet - it would be appreciated as well! Thanks for your help! Lance
  11. Looking for load data using Longshot, Clays, Red Dot, Bullseye, WST powders. Thanks in advance! Shooting in Sig 226 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  12. I ordered some trial packs just this week - they said they are about 6 weeks behind right now with demand. Can't wait to get the sample ones and try them out!
  13. Glad I'm not alone! Bought a Dillon beam scale yesterday - feel more confident now that my weights are on. Ended up measuring each charge and it was actually right on! While I was at Dillon store, Gail suggested making sure the fail-safe rod was tightened down to where on the primer seating position, you could just get a business card between the spring coils - think that helped with consistency as well! Didn't know about the tolerance with electronic scales being +/- 0.2 - that's crazy!
  14. Thanks Agent #1911. I just loaded up some Bullseye 4,6gr, 200 SWC Berry's at 1.250 yesterday, as well as the LSWC at same specs - look forward to comparing them.
  15. I'm seeing variations with it on my 550B - sometimes as much as 0.2gr which concerns me as I'm going for 4.3gr and sometimes the scale shows 4.5 - put it back in case, tare scale, weigh again, sometimes will show 4.3 but other times shows 4.4 to 4.5gr. Faulty Hornady Scale? Cost $30.
  16. Seem to be getting some inconsistent powder charges with Clays -didnt have any variations that I know of when usingTitegroup with other bullets before. I've weighed while loading and even though set at 4.3gr sometimes getting 4.4 or 4.5gr - not adjusted screw at all. Have read about some of the techniques like putting 4 charges in scale and averaging them - makes sense, but am concerned as 4.4 is stated as the max if seating is 1.235 - have been loading to 1.250 since forum says they'll feed better in 1911's. Any pointers? I admit plate isn't always full of cartridges.
  17. Wow -thanks for the information guys! Appreciate it! I don't have cows anymore... LOL!

  19. Thanks for the welcome folks! I'm still finding the sites to shoot - have been to Scottsdale Gun Club several times, PRGC once with a buddy, once to Rio Salado at Usury Pass, and once to Ben Avery. Would prefer someplace closer like PRGC or the new range going in near IKEA! Mostly handgun reloading but love shotgun too!
