Sorry guys, false alarm. They do have it on their website but I just called them and they do not have it in stock. They said 3-4 weeks but, as we who have been waiting for it for a year can testify, we have heard that before.
The wait goes on!

Just practice as that is where I shoot higher volume in a shorter period of time. The pain I had was on the outside of the elbow right on that "bump", and it was really bad for a while. Started using this and no more pain, works for me!

Steve,
As we spoke about at the Open, I had the exact same pain in my elbow that you are describing. I got this from UniqueTek:
http://www.uniquetek.com/site/696296/product/T1237
and I use it whenever I practice. Have not had any elbow pain since, I am sure it will help whether you are shooting an open gun, limited, or anything else. The idea is to reduce the shock that is transmitted to the elbow and this does it for me.

... that holds the dot steady, really steady?
Steady enough for two A double taps at twenty yards without the need to acquire a second sight picture?
You forgot to add, aims itself to the A zone...
When I order mine I will add the "never have to reload" option too!

If there is.....................I want two of them, NOW!

I blast the shell plate and the primer seater with every 100 rds with compressed air to keep the errant debris out of the shellplate and press area. The 550 sure could use a sealed primer disposal system...
+1 to the compressed air. I keep several cans on my reloading bench and use it for every cleanup issue.

I can pretty much guarantee that northern New England is not the hotbed of USPSA. My nearest match site is 1.5 hours each way, then 2 places that are 2.0 each way. Couple more years and I go south, warmer during winter and not so much travelling!

Had a great time down at the Open, am looking at hopefully coming down for this match. Will know in the next few days.

I bought the KISS for my 1050 and have not regreted it. Probably 15-20K loaded with it and I can think of just 2 upside down bullets in all that time. Great reliability, great product.

I actually like the additional weight on mags that I have to drop during a stage. Helps get them out of the way quicker.
If the Limcat ones are no longer available you can go to your local golf supply house and buy some lead tape. Wrap a strip or 2 around your mag just above the magwell but........make sure it doesn't interfere with your mage properly seating in the gun.

If it is of use/interest to those watching this post, I do have a very nice video of Eric shooting the stage in question here. If someone is willing to host it, and get it up on this post, I would be glad to send it to them if you email me instructions. Good picture and sound clarity (29.2MB).
Note: I am NOT trying to stir anything up, they are both great shooters. Just thought that those who didn't see the run, or would like to see it, could do so.

Nope!

We are shooting it on Sunday. It looks easy enough
Randy, inside information huh?
I should probably practice this Saturday to see how I can screw it up on Sunday!

Got mine on my range bag before I went to Florida Open. Showed it to a bunch of other BE'ers down there and you should be getting some other contributions soon.
Thanks Brian, it looks great!

I've tried the Adidas Corner Blitz and Nike Land Sharks. I stuck with the Nike since they fit me better.
I have both of these same shoes. Personally I like the Adidas but........I change back to my hiking shoes whenever the stage has a platform, walkway, stairs, etc. FB cleated shoes not good on a hard surface!

I started shooting this sport 4 years ago and have been to every FL Open since then. So, for me, this was the best ever. I think the new scheduling is absolutely FANTASTIC. Please do not ever change back to the old way, this is sooooo much better.
My other comment would be to not double up on pits by having 2 stages in them, unless you absolutely have to. I really like the extra 2 stages but would rather see them placed in other pits. Is there room over near where Eric gave his lesson, to the right of the plate racks?
Lastly, I missed the helicopter!
Thanks, see you next year.

Enjoyed it too, Glyn! Great squad, and nice putting names to the faces I didn't know -- XDNiner, FireAnt, Kenny...The squad was certainly the highlight of the match, for me.
I don't think I'll ever drive again. 10 hours alone in the truck on Sunday, on I-95 was pretty miserable; especially having shot poorly for two days straight.
You should have taken your $40 airline flight
We will try again next year!

Seems like all the other members of squad 27 have posted about the match so I guess I should too!
I too enjoyed it very much except for the last minute, pre-match, gun issues. I especially liked the Kentucky stage, don't see this type of stage too often. Liked the whole concept of it and the only negative was the blast from the open gun inside the cave. Martin almost had his glasses blown off! Long distance steel...........piece of cake! 8 yard open shots............another story
My thanks too for all the hard work of all the RO's and other staff. The Florida Open is my "treat" each
Winter as it gets me away from NH snow and cold for a few days. Will be back again for many years to come. Steve, look forward to shooting with you again in 09. We HAVE to get it right one of these years!!!!
Lastly, thanks to Frank Garcia. He was the guy who got me started in this great sport 4 years ago. Without his teaching and encouragement, I would not be enjoying this as I am now.
See you all next year.

Any eyes-on reports yet? What are the speed-shoots like? Etc.
I just got back from looking at the stages.
There are no speed shoots IMO!
What did you find there? Theme?

So, let's see! I'm leaving snow, slush, ice, and darkness for....................70's, sun, and shooting! Tough choice, see you all tomorrow afternoon.

Considering that a monkey could do your job and affixing an ORM-D label is not much harder, I would say youve said enough. Just remember crap rolls down hill, hence my time with Billy has not even begun. For your sake Ronny lets keep to the point of the topic, FIXING YOUR MISTAKE! Which has now become my problem. Thank you for your reply's
PM sent, I think I can help you out.
-
Thank's my first time there....
You're in for a treat! Hint, sight your gun in for something more than 10-15 yds

When and were are we suppose to pick-up the package/shirt?
At registration, just outside the enclosed eating area. There will be a large RV parked next to it.

Just heard from Jack Norris. He will be at the Open and will have primers, powder, and parts for sale. He can drop ship Hornady bullets as well. I am waiting on prices. If you have anything in particular you need, give him a call so that he can get you squared away. FYI.
Do you have a phone number? Thanks.
Most secure Open Gun holster

I was DQ'd at the 2006 Florida Open when my open gun came out of a LOCKED CR Speed holster. Those who shot the match that year will remember the stage with the helicopter. Start with 2 hands on those handles and run across about 20 feet before drawing. LAMR, lock the holster, tug on gun to make sure, grab handles, beep, move, and it popped right out after about 10 feet...........trip to Dairy Queen!
That was the last day I ever used a CR Speed holster, bought a Ghost the next day at the vendor tent and have had great luck with it ever since.
