  4. Good for you. Simular story here for me without the paintball. I love the shooting sports. Action shooting is what i enjoy IPSC more specificially. I never would have guessed that so many people enjoy it either.... untill a friend introduced me to it Jan 2012 ive had the affliction ever since lol. what are you reloading with? i bought a lee pro 1000 progressive i will say it 'does the job' but if you don't have a press yet i'd highly recomment a dillion do you have any red dots or all iron sites? ive been determined to shoot iron sites till i need to switch to a dot cause of bad eyes but someone let me try their dot site and im addicted lol are you using speed holsters? i bought myself a ghost holster and belt in a combo deal from ipsc.org it was a really good deal if you don't have one already check it out. anywho just thought id give a shout out keep shooting cheers
  5. theres both stages nice n clean for you guys. im sorry about the clarity of the videos all i have so far and they were done with a camera. very good point cz i would never have even thought about the 180 rule and my running to the right that fence i'm running along is the line of scrimmiage of you will so you are very right in your observation. i will remember that. when it comes to moving far distances your saying i shoudn't take my weak hand off the gun but run with it against my chest kinda tucked in...... that sounds like it would be unbalanced and uncomfortable but i will try it before i knock it. thank you for your great points hope the cleaner video helps with the cadence for you. on the topic of dry fire what do you guys think about getting a metal slide airsoft gun as a option to practicing for dryfire... im currently not able to practice with my gun at home due to all the stupid transportation rules in canada the 'heavier' airsoft idea seemed like a viable solution for now but it is not my gun ...... it will not break the same as my gun........ so maybe it would bring in bad habits...??? i wondered if someone was gonna comment on my long arms in the port lol..thanks!!!...... my mentor was mentioning that to me too..... there was a 8 inch plate in between two of those blue barrells opposite side of the course and a target low right inside the port that i thought i needed to get right in on i think a lot of what i need to work on is confidence n its coming slowly. and all you guys are good at building that thanks i was super nervous on the star it was way easier that it looked but i kept running it over and over in my head before the stage what i'm sure helped. thanks to everyone for you help.......

  7. Hello all, My name is jeff I'm very new to this wonderful sport. I just got started last Aug in the sport here in canada and i love it. It has been a long winter awaiting the opportunity to get back out side again and train, the anticipation of spring is building. I joined the bullseye league here this winter to keep shooting and work on shot placment and seeing/calling my shots. This site has been a great help in information. I have a couple videos from two of the stages i shot last fall which i would like your critique on. This was my first USPSA match and i borrowed a gun from a fellow shooter, actually the gun owner is the RO (thus the encouragement during the bigger stage). He is also my mentor along with another gentleman. They are a wealth of knowledge. Please tell me what you think and things you see i should to focus on for this year coming. I have a strong desire to become good at this sport and all ur help is greatly appreciated. second stage of the day was also the biggest one of match. had some issues mid go with now seating a mag fully: stage 2 This was probably the 5TH Stage i shot: stage 4
  8. I'd have to agree with 1911 awo. Are u sure your not doing more harm then good with all those squats at high weights? Perhaps his routine is good advice. I'd recommend running it by someone with more initials after their name thou I'm no doctor. I myself an an electrician always on my knees and I find gloucousimine sulfate with msm helps greatly for consistent knee pain. But you have to take it all the time missing doeses just lowers the effects. Cheers and hope you feel better Keep shooting!!!
