  1. Interesting, I would think that more people would go that route. So some barrel fitting is required to drop a 9mm barrel into a .40 TS?
  2. Whoa, I had no idea! So it would be more of a value to get the .40 cal version of the TS over the 9mm since it has the potential to run both calibers? If that's the case, in totally reconsidering my future purchases. Does it run 9mm as accurately and as reliably as the factory 9mm version?
  3. Well, if they went out of business their customer service is sure to improve!
  4. I was hoping they were going to announce the Stock 3 with the cone barrel that was posted in a thread here a few months ago. Supposedly called the innovation Stock 3.
  5. I decided not to get my internals coated with NP3 because the process involves bead blasting the metal before the treatment is applied. Since Bodkin's trigger job includes a lot of internal parts polishing, I didn't want to mess with the texture of the mating surfaces.
  6. Small frame. God, what's wrong with me? I'm no rich man by any means nor am I a sport shooter, but I'm always willing to bend over backwards to have the finest sidearm I can get my mitts on -- my Excalibur, if you will. -Complete Robar NP3 (except internals), +3 NP3ed magazines -Internals, sear and hammer given a Bodkins trigger job -Hennings Extended Firing Pin (so firing block removed) -Grauffel Grips I love it and it's my most accurate gun so far, but the next step with the bull barrel really makes me want to take this rabbit hole deeper. Besides, I always find I'm more about the chase than the goal, much to the chagrin of my wife and my pocketbook. I gotta make sure those bbl Stock 3s are state-bound, first.
  7. Looks like i might be putting my Stock 3 up for sale soon...
  8. Whoa! You must tell me about that Stock 3 with the bbl!!
  9. Hahaha, check out the total handjob "interview" with EAA on Guns Nut: gunsnut.net/2013/09/gunsnut-interview-with-eaa-ifg/ "The interwebs are full of EAA Customer Service praises how do you maintain such a stellar customer oriented support staff?" Hahahaha, oh man, i really question the credibility of that site now. Reading that article was like listening to someone talk about how awesome the movie "Daredevil" was.
  10. Is the tiniest bit of play between the barrel and the muzzle face normal for Tanfos? I can faintly feel movement when I apply finger pressure, but it moves so little I can't even really see the movement. By the way, there is zero movement when I try pushing down on the barrel hood in the locked position. Thanks in advance!
  11. I think it's the Super Sight. It's the one that comes on the Stock 3 from the factory. Thanks for the info!

    I hate you people.

What what what??? Not sexy? Then you refer to the Beretta a being aesthetically playing? Sorry friendo, but you're out of your mind. I agree about the bit of design miscue regarding the slide and frame not lining up perfectly at the muzzle, but enduring else about it is sexy as hell! It's simple but sleek, modern but classic, svelte but athletic. The Beretta looks like a positively dumpy, fat chick compared to the cz!
  13. Bah! The blasted LPA sights on my Stock 3 developed a crack. These things are fragile as can be -- I have less than 250 rounds through the gun. Maybe I've been making too much contact on the sights when racking the slide. At any rate, now I'd like to get the Henning fixed rear sight. Which one should I get for the Stock 3: the Witness Limited Target Rear Sights or the Witness Match Target Rear Sights? I feel like it should be the Limited, but what do I know -- I'm a total newb. Thanks guys!
  14. Hey guys, i was just wondering how tight your slide/frame and barrel/slide fit should be. I have a Stock 3 with a tiny bit of wiggle on both fitments. Is this normal? Full disclosure: i did have the entire gun np3'd at Robar, but I've read that the np3 process doesn't change the dimensions measurably. It's accurate as all get out, but seems like the fitments would otherwise decrease ultimate accuracy. PS 1,000th EAA forum topic on Enos! Woohoo!
  15. Good to hear. They're usually one of the cheapest on gunbot (nowhere near 10 cents a round, though!), so i was a bit leery. I think I'll give them a shot and buy some 147 gr for practice since i carry 147 for self defense.
  16. Crossbreed makes an aiwb for a 75 compact that probably fits like a glove. Plus they have a "try it for two weeks" policy if it doesn't work out. I'm actually planning on ordering one myself for my PCR as soon as get my next paycheck. Also, eat a crab cake for me!
  17. Whoops, forgot to add the mecgar magazine was the 16 rounder. The 14 rounders are just too short to work.
  18. I ordered a bunch of tanfog mags for my stock 3 and a bunch of mecgar mags for my cz PCR. The tanfog mags work in both guns but the mecgar mags just barely don't lock in to the stock 3. I took a dremel with a coarse stone to the top of the left magazine catch hole (if you're looking at the mag from the front) to take just a tiny bit of material off. Now it locks into both guns. Fair warning though, i haven't used the mag in either gun for live shooting, but it worked flawlessly in both guns hand cycling the action.

Post a Pic of your CZ's

WWWWow! What was the process of getting that beauty looking like that? What did you use to get that bitching "scale" look? I'd love to replicate that look using that DIY Duracoat Shake n Spray.
  20. I don't shoot competitively, not do i rely on it as my main self defense gun. It's more of a range toy/back up weapon. So I'm probably looking at a nicer trigger pull first and foremost.
  21. Hey guys, I was wondering whose extended firing pin you recommend: Henning's, which eliminates the firing block, or Grauffel's, which allows for the use of the firing pin. This is for a Stock 3. Does the firing pin block affect DA or SA trigger pulls? I think I've read something about Tanfoglio firing pin blocks not being as effective as other firing pin blocks anyway during an errant drop of the gun. Thanks in advance.
  22. I'd like to try the Henning out. I had the Eric Grauffel sight and I really bugged it up to hell trying to get it on because it didn't want to fit. I ended up gouging the front really bad and the metal dovetail was badly deformed as it slid into the slot. I guess Im an idiot because I thought it would fit in with some coaxing. I didn't realize filing metal down was necessary.
  23. I don't shoot non jacketed. Are there polygonal rifled 9mm barrels that EAA or tanfoglio sells that would fit a Stock 3?
