Thank you to you both for the advise. Where is the best place to order the components? I plan on using Bayou bullets and WST. The bullets I'll order and I have a lot of WST.

I would like some advice on what I need to purchase to switch a rl550b from 45acp to 38 short colt. I am looking at the deluxe quick change conversion in 38 cal. but what else do I need. I would like to make the change over as simple and easy as possible. To all have a safe and great shooting weekend.

Thanks to all. I have talked with the match director and as of yet nothing has been turned in. Every shooter that I have ever encountered has been good people. Eventually it will show up. Just thought that I would put a post here and maybe someone from the area might be holding on to it until next match. An expensive and good lesson learned here and yes now all of my gear will be marked. New gear on the way.

Last Sat. Apr.5, I accidently left my belt, holster (revolver 002 cup) and moon clip holder (north mountain) in the parking lot at a USPSA match at Talon range in Tallahassee. If anyone who attends these matches found or knows of its whereabouts please contact me or call the range please. Bummer because I really liked that setup too.

I shoot ICORE at cfrpc and they do put on a good match. It is the forth sunday of the month. Check them out at Centural Floadia Rifle and Pistol Club website Have not made it to Volusia yet but several of people I shoot with go there. We most all live near Williston.

I use bayou bullets in both of my 625's and the 610. I have never had any kind of problem with them. I use a lite crimp if any .472 and no factory crimp. As long as Donnie is making them I will buy them. Steve

I use the 140tc bayou bullet, but with a s&w 610. I load 4.6 gn of WST and federal primers. At 20 yards it is very accurate. Have not chronoed it as of yet.

Welcome to the forum. This is a great place and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do. I as somewhat new to it myself.

I used to shoot IPSC back in the 80"s like alot of other people here also and things have changed since then. We have different types of handguns now. If you like to shoot try looking into ICORE or IDPA. There is also steel plates which is awhole lot of fun. The 80"s were awhole lot of fun, but todays shooting is also. Hope that you find something that you enjoy shooting.

I would like to suggest that you try miking the cylinder with another set of mikes to make sure that they are tight. From what I understand is that most cyls. run .0005 over. IE: 45 acp cyl. would be reamed to .4525. Hope that you can figure it out.

Maybe uspsa should change senior and super senior to waiting for parts and reconditioned. I feel like that on some days.

I shoot 200 gr. 40 s&w with wsf powder, but out of a 610 s&w. Try a web site called castpics.net. The 40s&w loads are at pages 190-193. Hope that this helps.

I also use the 002 holster and have not had any problems with it. Use it for uspsa, icore and steel plates. Like most others I have modified it a bit, just just my nature to try and build a better wigget.
