  1. I have a comp tac dual mag pouch. Seems to work alright.
  2. Thanks! Live out in the Lehigh Valley area. Good location for shooting as there are 6 IDPA and a couple USPSA "style" matches a month within a 25min drive of my home. Open it up to 45min and I can get some steel shooting and a couple more IDPA matches in, assuming I have the time with work/wife/family/etc... I try to get a couple in a month usually.
  3. Just wanted to drop a hello in. I've been shooting for a long time, but haven't done any competition type shooting until last year. Do mostly IDPA where I shoot SSP, but I read just about every forum to try to extract any advice I can. Great site y'all have here and I hope I can contribute. And if not, I look forward to learning....
  4. At the risk of being repetative, I'm going to echo some of the opinions already stated. Last year I shot with an M&P9, which was, along with the Glock 34(and 17), was by far the most common pistol used. Even in the SSP division most had been modified with FO sights, lighter triggers, and stippling where allowed. A few people would shoot a Sig or other DA/SA guns, but they were few and far between. The "gamers" (myself included, my M&P isn't stock) rule the game. That being said, I'm going to shoot a CZ75 Shadow this year. It's more for giggles and to practice with a different gun than anything else. I doubt, at least initially, I will shoot to my classification of expert. I will most likely be shooting at the SS level initially as I get used to the pistol.
  5. Thanks yeah I've only shot a few hundred rounds through it so far, almost all WWB, Federal bulk ammo, and a handful of Atlanta Arms 147gr I had laying around. No problems so far. I'm only qual'd in SSP right now. Shot expert with my M&P9. Deciding whether I was to use this in SSP as a DA/SA gun or shoot it in ESP cocked locked. Or both.. what a pistol!
  6. Hah I agree on both counts. A couple of our clubs around here in Eastern PA use an iPad program. I swear that at one match our scores were uploaded before I had my pistol in my range bag. The other clubs do it manually, but it's still usually done the same day or if it was and evening match, the next day. I'll admit I'm on my phone checking to see if the scores are out while I'm in bed ready to go to sleep. I do understand that it's volunteers that are doing the score entry, so I don't give too much grief for having to wait.
  7. Nice vids, thanks for posting. I'm about to start using my 75 Shadow in IDPA this seaons. Just got it from CZC about a week ago. Can't wait to put some rounds down range with it.
  8. I've emailed Rob back and forth so much he is probably tired of hearing from me. Managed to get him on the phone to order a couple of pistols as well. I want to email him again to find out the status, but I figure I'll know the status when my FFL calls...
  9. Top Gun Supply is great. Only problem I had was I was driving when that email came out. By the time I checked it they were all out of stock again!
