  1. It sounds so obvious, but several people have emailed or called me and said they couldn't get even close to what I claim. We can't have that now... ;-) so I made up a couple videos. I've realized that the way I load my mags is second hand to me, but not necessarily to others. Seeing how I do it will clarify a few things and definitely simplify the process. Check it out: http://henningshootsguns.com/tech/tech.tan...io.loadmag.html There's one for the new 29 round 38 super mag (using 38 super rimless) and one video for the 21 round 40 S&W mag. As I've specified several places on my site and shop, the 21 round mag won't fit 21 when the spring is new. You got to shoot it as a 20 round for a while to allow the spring to take enough set to willingly allow the 21 round. Good luck
  2. With a 10mm you can change out the barrel only to make it a 40 S&W. Breechface is the same so it's a fairly easy conversion. Give me a call at (720) 352 1080 and I'll get you what you need.
  3. Just added Slide-Ride standard swtich for $229 and Click-Switch for $289. Available in black and either 4moa or 6moa. Remember free shipping over $300 and I also carry EGW 1911 parts so put a couple of things together and save a few bucks.
  4. Thanks, I appreciate the positive feedback. I've been working hard on getting everybody what they order right away and building up my business to serve everyone who loves these great guns. More stuff is added constantly, today I put C-More Slide Ride red dot scopes on my site. It's more and more becoming a one-stop shop for EAA / Tanfoglio owners and wanna be owners. Working on my shop and remodeling my new house is probably why I sucked so bad at Nationals. It was a scramble to get everything together the week before the match, sighting in, loading up and chrono (which was perfect here in CO and bit me in MT... you already know I'm sure...) I've put my open gun away for the summer to focus on Limited / Standard. Planning on going to the range twice a week to practice for the next three months to be ready for Lim Nats and the Europeans. Europeans is in France and we start shooting on the 17th (we stop shooting Lim Nats on the 12th). It's a ridiculous schedule, but I'm flying to Norway 7am from Tulsa day after Limited's, arriving in Norway on Friday 14th in the morning. Jumping in a car with my buddy Sander in Oslo and then we're driving for the next two days to Southern France. Hopefully we'll be functional enough to register on Sunday and start shooting on Monday... I love it though and should be tons of fun. Plus we'll get to drive up and see the beautiful French country side after the match. It's all about the experience.. btw. happy to be back ! ;-)
  5. Limited 40's should be available through me mid-July. If you're interested, just email me on my site. Supply has been sparse for a long time, but they're expecting two shipments in for July. Should be lots of goodies in the bag..
  6. EAA has two shipment coming in July. I should have Limited 40's mid July. Gold Team 38's I'm not sure yet. Got a couple of the long slide last month, but we're waiting for the 'PRO' model which is 0.400" shorter slide and a V12. 9mm might be a way to go down the road, but I don't recommend them for open class as of now. Making the 9mm big sticks work is going to be more troublesome than it's worth. 38 super rimless only caliber I recommend as of now. Beven is going to tackle the 9mm big sticks and whenever he's got that taken care of 9mm's will be way to go. But not yet. I've shot 38 super since 1995 in these guns and when the rimless was introduced mid to late 90's it eliminated any feeding issue and it's just a dream to shoot the gun. 29 + 1 is the current mag capacity in the 171.25mm mags ! 24 + 1 in the 140mm mags.
  7. That's right 29 + 1 works beautifully. They are now available in my store as 29 + 1 magazines, USPSA and IPSC legal length.
  8. Brian's book and Slide-Glide (#1 and #lite) now available through my store. Also includes a some background info on how I got to know Brian. http://henningshootsguns.com/shop/brianenos.html
  9. Easy to swap the safeties out, but I doubt Production class will make the gun legal with the other safety...
  10. It'll fit for sure. The 22 conversion kits can be a bit tricky to make them reliable. I have one and I haven't spent that much time with it, but it's a jamming SOB. Light strikes has been my troubles, but I'm sure that can be remedied with a little time invested. Just never got to it..
  11. Nemo, As far as I know, not yet. I'm very excited myself and I have received lots of emails requesting this gun so I hope we will see it soon. That part is all up to EAA. I was part of deciding how this gun was to be built and accepted by IPSC so I hope to get one myself soon too ;-)
  12. I can get 18 + 1 for 40 S&W in IPSC standard class. There isn't enough room to get more than that, but it'll give it another millimeter which is going to allow easy reloading to 18. That's important !
  13. Hi Ken, Yes they are 1" x 3" and USPSA legal. I'll improve the text on the shop pages. Thanks for pointing it out. ;-)
  14. Store is getting to a point where it's a pretty complete one-stop Tanfoglio-shop... Safariland 771 STX Tactical magpouches are the ones I've been using myself for the past 10 years. In my mind they are the best suited for Tanfoglio magazines and the only ones I recommend. Which is why I also started carrying them in my store. Have both Right and Left hand pouches.
  15. I don't know Nemo. One thing I do know is that I would use them at least in practice as the plastic could crack from dropping on hard surfaces.
  16. Introducing the THOR 223 and THOR 260 Compensators for AR-15 and bolt rifles. The THOR compensators is made out of 416 Stainless here in Colorado after my design. Over the past 14 years or so that I've enjoyed shooting AR-15 rifles I've had a large variety of compensators custom made as well as tried various manufactured comps. I've tried 2, 3, 4 and 5 port comps in different shapes and lengths. My experience have taught me that a 3-port comp with good size side ports and top ports to provide sufficient downforce is the ticket. Nobody made exactly what I wanted, so here it is... The THOR 223 is a beautifully machined compensator that fits onto 1/2" - 28TPI threaded AR-15 barrels in .750" diameter. The THOR 260 will fit AR-10 threading; 5/8" - 24TPI and tapers to .800". It is a very effective compensator that can be fitted on an AR-15 in 6.5 Grendel or a bolt-action .260 Rem / AI long range gun. You can get it here: THOR Compensators at Henning's Shop I fitted a THOR 260 on my AR-10 by opening up the last port for .308. Soon I will also have the THOR 308 specifically for AR-10 rifles and bolt action .308's. And in the same product line there will also be an ODIN 260 and ODIN 308 which is Thor's father. It features a similar design, but with more aggressive angled porting to handle the heavier caliber rifles. It is a comp designed for bolt-action rifles ! I'm working on an article about the THOR and ODIN compensators. Soon as I get a little free time you can see these bad boys in video-action along with pictures and what our testing team experienced. We are stunned how well they work! Here's a picture of the THOR:
  17. Michael, I just got your order packaged up and it's going out now. The new G-Code holsters are nice and fits the Stock / Match perfectly. One thing to consider down the road is getting the aluminum pads for them. You don't need them for the capacity of course, but they are a lot more sturdy than the plastic bottoms they come with.
  18. Alright, I've got them and after tuning they hold 27 + 1 rounds. I'm going to work on a special pad to get 28 and maybe 29 if the pipedream doesn't wake me up. Anyways, here it is: http://henningshootsguns.com/shop/eaa.elite.magazines.html
  19. Thanks Alex, It was an old heading from when I was selling the USPSA gauge and F2 on that page. When I get a little more time here, I'm going to write up an article with some videos about the comp. We've shot it on AR-15 and AR-10 and are very happy with it. Settles the gun very nicely and give it a lot more downforce.
  20. My gun is more or less featured in video, dis/assemblied on my site. Check out the Tech Section It's got several articles where I've gone into how I modify the grip etc as well. I'll also get some pictures taken of my gun and post them. As for my open gun, it's on here: My 2006 Open Gun
  21. G-CODE (made by Eagle) now in stock. Fits Elite Stock and Elite Match models (with round trigger guards). Only Right Handed. Talked to them last week and they haven't gotten the mold for lefties yet. Available here: G-Code Holsters for Stock and Match btw. they are black, not the color pictured. I'll see if I can get some pictures of my own taken.. ;-)
  22. I am also coming out with an IPSC specific pad that will fit in the box. The current factory pad isn't bad, but there's a little more room and it will make the reloads easier with 18 + 1 in 40 Standard class. It'll be the ticket for IPSC Standard and provide a nice small, fast and easy magazine to reload for even Gold Team Open class. The mag will hold 20 + 1 in 38 super.
  23. Okay, so not a Tanfoglio item, but the second latest item in my own product line. 24. FINALLY!!!! After years of having to modify the CPMI pads to make the legal 140mm (and before that even to work), I now have my own pads. They are made ready to go, slip on pads to the factory magazine bodies and voila you have a legal USPSA 140mm magazine. The H-140 pad uses an 0.050" allen set screw which sits tight on the magbody. No rattling here and it's beautifully lighweight machined in aluminum. You can get them here: http://henningshootsguns.com/shop/eaa.elite.tuning.html With the Grams spring/follower kit and the H-140 pad you will get: 38 Super = 24 + 1 rounds (rimless 38 super) 40 S&W = 21 + 1 rounds 9 mm = 23 + 1 rounds I haven't tested them on 45 ACP, but they will increase the capacity for sure. Here's a picture of the pad:
