  1. Work requires a yearly first aid CPR AED qualification... but my intention is to seek further training. Here is a odd bit of knowledge I gained...when doing chest compressions, it should match the beat to the song "Staying Alive" from the Bee Gee's.
  2. Great question, I was wondering that too...being new to the sport and this being my first Glock, I don't want to buy anything not needed to improve myself.
  3. I love this forum, you have so much experiance to answer your questions. I was also wondering about them. I was told for my Glock 34 all I needed to was change the sights, get the grip stippled, and upgrade the trigger, but the most important thing I was told was to get a few thousand roundsand train and work on getting my draw and mag changes down.
  4. Cheapest Place I have found is "Shooters Connections " They have brass & bullets...5000 9mm brass cases under $144.20 + free shipping They are awseome, they ship all orders fast and correctly and the best customer service out there!!
  5. Not sure where Brandenburg is...Im in Georgetown.

  6. Thank you...I thought so, but being new I wanted make sure and not just assume I read it right.
  7. Thank's guys... I found where someone had posted a video how to change the FO, so I can test each to get a feel for what is best.
  8. Thanks for all the information... I enjoy getting the advice from people who know, not just shooting from the hip ( no pun intended )
  9. Yes as long as it is flush. In other words, if it extends below the grip, as to somewhat form a magwell, it would not be allowed. also keep in mind weight restrictions in Production division. Thank's...gotta keep in mind the simple things can become important!
  10. Thank you, I got my beginner training from Cory Estill, I will continue getting trained, the only way to get better!
  11. Great to see other Veterans on here.

  12. I looked at the rule book and still not sure... I have the Glock 34, it came with the extended slide release, can I put a standard slide release on it, like on the Glock 17? I keep bumping the darn thing and having it lock back when Im shooting and its destroys my time plus rattles my game plan! So is putting a smaller slide lock allowed or would that be a considered a Mod??
  13. Ive seen on here folks talking about calling the shot...Im a newbie, please explain
  14. Watch this video for putting in your fiber. It's Dawson Precision, and after watching it, I am amazed at how much fiber I have wasted doing it the wrong way... Good luck Thanks for the video...now I can see for myself if I do better with green vs red
  15. I have some awesome friends that live in McDonough...If you ever get a chance to stop in a bakery called "FLOUR POWER" you'll be glad ya did!!

  16. Just gonna ask to get feed back from those who know more than I... What color fiber optic rod do you see better, it seems now you can order one in almost any color, mine came with extra red & green.
  17. for someone just starting out reloading ammo, what is the best reloader to start/learn on?
  18. Now I'm more confused on which trigger to get for my Glock 34... so many differant views
  19. I found FO over Iron on Glock 9mm better, but not on 1911 .45
  20. I kept having my Glock 34 lock back because I was bumping the slide...great part about having veteran shooters to let you know whats going on and how to fix it. The Glock 34 came with the extended slide release...but you can replace it with the standard release from a Glock 17.
