  1. PM me your email address and I'll put you on the announcement list for the new 3 gun matches at Summit Point that start next month. There are also matches at Topton in Mertztown, Pa.
  2. I need a starting (major) load using Winchester Auto Comp in a .38 Super with a 124 grain bullet.
  3. No joke. Ho and Merlin are limited to 2 3/4 dram no 8 shot.
  4. Hey Greg! Can I use my knee mortar for the long slug shot? If nothin' else the target will go down.
  5. I had no trouble getting to any of the stages last year in a car. IIRC, there was one muddy section on a road and it was easy to avoid. You have to remember that Andy and his crew have to be able to get the steel into the stage sites and even with 4WD, a thousand pounds of steel makes a pickup unwieldy in the mud.
  6. My M2 is sighted in at 50 yards with Fiocchi LEO Slugs. All I did was load one Remington Slugger, hold a bit high and pull the trigger. One shot, center hit. The other two slug shots were back in the woods at 50 - 55 yards and I used the low recoil slugs for those. It ain't rocket science.
  7. The long slug shot in the woods at Blue Ridge last year was 135 yards - measured. It was lot particularly difficult.
  8. The Marine Corps is having a match in April but it's full The first regularly scheduled Quantico3Gun match will be in May. I'll send the announcement approximately two weeks before the match.
  9. 6.4.4 - Tactical Class scoped rifles may be equipped with no more than one (1) optical sight. Take one off or bring the other scope.
  10. Greg is sadistic! There WILL be awkward positions. If I were you, I'd start practicing every possible position I can - especially the weird ones - now, rather than trying to dumb something up come stage time.
  11. 3 Gun carts. Usually made from old baby strollers - or wagons.
  12. You know, there is something wrong with the way the forum is sending notifications to the threads I'm subscribed to. This came in as Blue Ridge and I answered as such. Carts ARE good for LaRue. They are NOT needed at Blue Ridge. The spectator rules apply to both matches.
  13. CRS Linda - I knew that! Same warning. The lists will materialize, just don't bug anyone for them.
  14. Leave the cart. You'll get a map - maybe - at registration. Skd's, lists, probably before the match, but only if you don't piss Linda off.
  15. Rules for spectators? Hearing and eye protection mandatory on the range. Stay out of the way of the competitor and the RO's. If you want to take photographs/video, ask the RO - ahead of time, preferably after the walk through. And then follow his/her directions explicitly.
  16. Re round count. From Greg a while back (post 159): "Last years round count... Rifle - 215 Pistol - 125 Shot - 65 Slug - 18 It will be about that this year." You WILL shoot more of everything - I generally double minimum rounds. I'd rather have to haul it back than run out.
  17. The longest lasered rifle shot was 426 yards. The longest - measured - slug shot was 135 yards.
  18. I've been contacted by some Marines from The Wounded Warrior Project who will be there competing. That's about as Devil Dog as you can get!
  19. If you're looking for permission, PM Greg or call Mark at the shop.
