Two week appointments this week . Liz and I are coming along really well with all the recuperating .

Well we went home in a day and a half. I am on crutches or walker for 6 weeks with no pressure on the leg except for balance. Then 6 weeks min of physical therapy.
I like the way it is coming. Pain is tolerable 99% of the time. Got outside and walked around the Mother in laws culdesac and it felt good.
Going to see the Dr tomorrow for 1 week check up. We see from there.

Have a friend with an XD40 standard. He wants to know if XDm40 mags are usable in it ?

Posterior cut. DR has said this one will take longer recovery due to less usable bone on the pelvis ( this hip the " bad " one) looking forward to it, just not the first week after . . . . . .

Just so everyone knows. I will be going to get a new titanium right hip July 14. It will not effect the match except Liz and I will be busy with Dr appointments and P. T. the last 2 weeks, and next 4 will be the busiest.

The first Memphis Charity Challenge I loaned out 6 guns, ammo and rigs for guys to use, Did about 8-10 action jobs that only 1 is still in use. Don't mind the loaning since it is the only time I know those folks will ever shoot a Revolver, but after a while it makes a person scratch their head.

If you are shooting on a bright sunny day, change out to a blue or purple fo rod. Still enough different color to pick up the sights quickly, but not so bright it over does it.

Have shot several using my 625, Remington Pump and M1A in heavy metal. Not a bad set up. Won a few too ! :-) :-) :-)

Looking . Like 283 rounds to shoot the match so I really hope y'all like shooting ! ! ! ! !
Hotel about 12 minutes from the range and walking distance from rats.
Come take the " Challenge " and help raise some funds for a great cause !

Have stages pretty much done. I hope everyone likes to shoot since the round count is 283 ! ! ! ! ! ! Remember we will have an auction after the shooting ends Saturday for sure, but maybe Friday after shooting too. So bring a little extra for that.

Had a good time shooting with everyone. Was nice to finally put a face with the title Stuart. Hope to get back up there again and more than once in a while.
If anyone wants plenty of trigger time I heartily suggest shooting this match ! ! !
