  1. Hello all . . . . . .

Stages will be finalized and permanent today. ( most are just a little work left ).

If you are shooting Friday we will have a shooters meeting at 09:00 central with shooting starting afterwards.

    Saturday starts 08:00.

Our lunch vendors could not return this year, and our backup had committed elsewhere so no lunch either day. Sorry about that.

    See y'all on the range.

  2. Hello from Memphis !

We have a little work left to do, but stages are looking good. Some are easy. Some not so easy.

All are fun and will challenge you in one way or another.

Since we had so many lateish entries plaques will be sent out to winners after the match so we have the correct total numbers to use.

The lunch group we used in the past could not be back, and all the backup people could not do it either thus the no lunches.

On the other hand. Weather is supposed to be GREAT ! ! ! ! ! !

See y'all on the range !

Special thanks to my wife Elizabeth for her hard work and dedication. I would not have attempted the MCC without her ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Also thanks to Bill Grewe, Lynn Jones, John Keller, and Brad Griffin.

  3. Blue Ridge,

Yes you will get one ticket per entry !

As for the challenge of the longer stages. . . . . .

One of the bigger reasons to shoot revolver in USPSA is the challenge of making it work. A challenge I always embraced that gave the division it's own identity and personality (until the 8 minor pretty much ended that).

Also hearing all the griping about low round count stages at the USPSA Nationals we decided to never have that comment made about the MCC  : ^ ]

  4. Yes you can sign up the day of the match you want to shoot unless it is full.

Level l and 'll matches are not strictly held to the 32 round limit but you gotta beg and plead pretty much.

Remember. The match is one gun a day. Up to two guns on consecutive days or one gun on one day .

The match is a charity find raiser for LeBoneur Children's Hospital. All proceeds after match administration go to buying the vein viewer that helps finding veins for IV much easier.

We will have some goodies there to auction and raise more fund's so bring some extra $$$$$$$

    We are also raffling off a M1a as usual with everyone who enters getting an automatic ticket in the drawing along with the extra everyone n buys.  :^}

    Any questions please ask.

  5. Well,

I am walking 2.5 miles a day the days I don't have PT.  Swimming 30+ minutes usually less than a hour though.

The days I do PT I only walk 1.25 , and swim only 30 mins then have PT 3 times a week.

Muscles bitch n moan, but are getting stronger and more defined. Pain in the joint PT days minimal only because working on range of motion.

All in all it is coming along well and the PT and DR happy with the progress.

    Me too pretty much.

  6. Siggy, he did a bit more than the standard hip replacement.

Moved the point of rotation to the normally proper spot on the pelvis. Then added an inch to the femur to get an even/level pelvis to stop the extra flip flop in the pelvis when I walked to stop the extra wear and tear on the spinal column.

Well, today we went back to the Dr today for the 6 weeks checkup.

He was happy with the way the bone has grown. I start Physical Therapy tomorrow. He has turned me loose to drive. Have to transition from crutches to cane to nothing in the next 4 weeks.

Also get to start swimming along with the 3 miles a day I am doing now so I can really work on getting my muscle strength up.

Going back to work first Monday in October

  7. Thanks Blueridge ! ! !

Towboat. Brad and Elizabeth both are looking into it. Since you are listlisted on the squading list you have a pin number generated. Check your spam filter and let me know if it is there . If not we will get you fixed right up with a new one.

Everyone else. If you are planning on shooting the match go ahead and send in your entry forms. It makes it hard to plan lunch and other stuff when we get all the entries later in the process.

    Thanks.

Oh, recovery from getting the new hip coming along really well ! ! ! !
