I was wandering if the World Shoot will have any influence in how matches are designed in the US?
Will we see tighter shots, more low ports? More weak hand shooting?
Everyone seems to agree that was a very difficult match.... should we keep doing the hoser feasts?

Had a similar problem, eliminated it by avoiding any brass other than Starline, especially Armscor...

Proportional representation.
Rules convergence as much as possible. -
I have been using a Guga Rivas holster for the last 10 years. It worked perfectly with SVI / STI polimer grips. I recently switched to an EVO grip in my open gun, it works, but it is too tight... what are EVO grip shooters using? How about the new Guga Rivas? Double Alpha?
Thanks

Hello: I shoot the C-More slide ride and have for years. My batteries last about a year shooting 3-6 matches a month. Never had any real issues with them. They just work. The RTS2 has a smaller lens and they seem to be not lasting as long as they should. If C-More would use the same lens as the slide ride I maybe a player but since it is not I am going to wait for something better. Thanks, Eric
My experience has been similar, shooting an average of 3 matches a month and practice and dry-fire (not much, sad to admit) the battery on my C-more slideride lasts about 6 months. -
4756, lol.
Move never seen 572.
I have 8 lbs for sale in the Charlotte Area -
Sorry double post

I see a great majority in Nationals running RTS2, what advantage do you see over a Slideride?

I have used 10.1gr with MG. Hybrid 4 popple holes mid length Akai. I prefer 3N38. PF = 170
-
With N105 you can basically fill the case to the rim with no pressure issues.
My load 11.0gr of N105 behind 115gr BBI with WSR primers . Avg 1462 fps.
It is loud...4 popple holes

The .223 case rim is a few thousandth smaller than 38SC. Would a super extractor have enough contact area with a .223 case?
I believe the 38 super AFTEC hook is bigger than its 9/38SC counterpart.
Can someone verify this?
-
I agree with the OP, everyone's gun is reliable with 38 SC, this is just an exercise (maybe futile) of finding a cheaper option if you have access to inexpensive 223 brass.
Maybe switching your AFTEC to a 38 super would improve extraction. -
Are you running an AFTEC extractor? 9 or 38? Have you tuned the mag lips?Has anyone had any success with cut down .223 cases? I get FTE and double feeds frequently with cut down .223. However supercomp runs 100%.This project intrigues me now that Infinity does not offer 9mm IMMs anymore. 223 brass can be cheap but converting it, using the Harbor Freight chop saw and a jig is a pain...that I am only willing to go through if I know that my gun will feed it reliably.

Expresso....don't leave home without it.

Clays or N-310

Since 223 brass is plentiful, how about trimming it to 38SC length AKA 9x23. If someone could invent a machine that automated the process....
-
It's a new policy. You won't find the option on your gunbuilder.
Yes Casey confirmed to me the same, I was ready to order a 9 major SVI . They will not build them any more...[emoji848] -
Nothing, just keep going when I have time, replenish powder, bullets, cases and primers when necessary.
Load on a RL 1050 with Mr Bulletfeeder
I do cover the powder hopper with an old VW (1lb n105) container to eliminate direct sunlight exposure.

Update, bought the RF-100 .
Have been running with WSR exclusively. No problems whatsoever.
This thing is awesome. Worth the money. -
It can be done with a 1050...

My curiosity does not go that far, but thanks for your suggestion.
