  1. Video from the end of the year last year...
  2. Congrats!!! And thank you for being here helping all us newbies!!!
  3. I don't know if you are set on Techwear but there is a custom shirt option from Gemini shirts that makes designing the shirt really easy. It is really cool. http://g2gemini.com They have a jersey gallery and if you go through the "create a custom jersey" option they have a lot of suggestions. Their website says "Upload Vector Logos for best quality (.AI, .EPS, .SVG, or .PDF) Some PSD and TIFF files will print ok if saved at higher resolution Internet graphics will not print well (.JPG, .GIF, .PNG)" They even offer the service of changing over formats for you for a charge. I am not a computer guru but it is my understanding that Vector files are a type of very high quality digital image. You have to have special software to convert images (depending on the type of the original file) and it is my understanding if you do convert you may lose quality. I would check out the program at Gemini and then maybe contact them about logos you are interested in. It is my guess that they probably have a large amount of high quality shooting related logos at their access. Also if you use the code rudy13 you get 10% off.
  4. I used to experience joint and muscle pain and came to find out it was a gluten intolerance. It is amazing how much better I feel overall now that I am gluten free.
  5. I have often wondered about this. I know that I am certainly the exception... not the rule!!! As a girl who is into intense hobbies, many times i am the rare female out there. I fill all my spare time with...well... moving. Aside from shooting I do tae kwon do, road bike, mountain bike, kayak, hike, am an avid runner (both competitive- i do local races, train for marathons, race in duathlons- and just run for fun with my boxers,) have been a "gym rat" and now am loving P90X and Insanity since it is too cold here in Ohio to go outside much. I know that my athletic demeanor is certainly an advantage in shooting, but honestly at my skill level, I haven't really been able to tap into it. I am capable of moving much faster than I can shoot at this point.
  6. I love love love the plyo section!!! It is my favorite. I don't do 90 min every day. I am way too busy between work, dry fire, and a dog. Sometimes i will just do a half hour of it then go walk the dog. I pick and choose what I want to do. I know it isn't keeping with the program, but like dry fire, some is better than none. I had avoided the program in the past because of the time required. Now I just make it work for me.
  7. It was interesting reading this! I am into running, biking (road and mountain) hiking, kayaking, tae kwon do, you name it... I really love outdoor activities but have been stuck inside due to the cold this winter. I have been dabbling in P90X (doing it on days it is just too cold to go outside) and have gotten so motivated by it that I started getting up at 5am to do it before work. I look forward to the workout every day.
  8. Hi Esther!!! I know I am a bit behind the curve (I have been hibernating all winter...) but welcome!!!! and good luck!
  9. Well I suppose my hands wouldn't stick anymore...
  10. That is AWESOME!!!! I am going to do our local class too! Let me know how it is!
  11. Shot a classifier match last weekend. It was so cold my hands were literally blue! It was really great to see so many friends! I have missed everyone while I was in hibernation mode.
  12. I have totally heard of others trying that too!!! Another great idea! I have the exact opposite problem. My hands stick to my gun. It makes it hard to get my hand off the grip for mag changes! Handwarmers make it worse!
  13. Before starting any kind of learning or practice, it is critical to have a definite goal. After just one night of thinking about it I already have mine. I am not worried about classifiers, match results, trophies, or scores. There were a couple times last year that I shot matches and slipped into this... zone, for a lack of a better word. It was like everything in the world blurred away except the stages. I felt like I shot everything in slow motion. I was emotionless and focused, but not stressed. My goal is to find that again. To find it and figure out how to call on that and use it to my advantage. Because honestly looking at the scores and the videos, those were the best stages I have ever shot. Those were the times I felt like I was shooting the way I should be.
  14. *****yawn****** ******stretch****** After a three month hibernation it is time to wake up and get ready for next season... Anyone seen my gun?
  15. Even if they did go up more I personally will always stay loyal to a company that has great customer service!
  16. The stages look fun! Can't wait till tomorrow!!!
  17. Been dry firing a bit this week with the Indiana match coming up. They were mostly very sort sessions but at least I got in some time daily.
  18. Sorry for being missing from my range diary for so long. I didn't even know I had missed messages! Summer has gone by so fast! C.I. Cant wait to shoot with you next weekend!
  19. During dry fire I did the usual stuff but have decided I want to rethink the cant of my holster and my hand placement for wrists above shoulders. Off to search for threads about both!
  20. Back to dry fire! But only a little. I worked on transitions and some draws about 15-20 min.
  21. Congrats! That is a big accomplishment!
  22. Thanks! You did too! Are you kidding... I just got rid of you!
