  1. I've done some experimenting with O.A.L. with N-320 and 180JHP Zero, from 1.220 down to 1.200 and couldn't tell any noticeable difference in velocity.
  2. Plywood would be better, and (2) pcs. screwed together are much better than (1).
  3. I couldn't agree more, 1-shot is the best.
  4. I've used several powder checks, and I've come to the conclusion that visually looking into each case is best.
  5. Absolutely, STOP EVERYTHING, and check every station. One other thing, if you have a powder check or not, you must pay attention to what your doing. I've had a squib (with) a powder check and (without) a powder check. You MUST PAY ATTENTION to what you're doing, and always make full strokes.
  6. My best advise would be to call Brian, he's one of the few people who will tell you the truth about what you actually need. If you're getting close and you're still not clear give me a call. be 877 219-5598
  7. Just got my 650 back and it looks like new. Could not be happier with Dillon's customer service.
  8. What is the best digital powder scale? My Pact just quit and I had to send it back, they said 3 to 4 weeks, I need another scale. Thanks
  9. Anybody shooting V.V. 310 or 320 with 147 9mm? I had a load (I think it was Matt Burkett's) but I can't find the info.
  10. What brand brass are you using? This exact same thing happens to me (yes, I make full strokes on the handle) but only PMC brass. It only does this with PMC, so it has to be the brass. Strange, this only happens with 9mm.
  11. I have found no advantage to using the Lee FCD. It will not do any better job, on badly bulged 'Glock' cases, than the Dillon. Some cases are bulged so bad they're just throwaways. I'll stick with Dillon.
  12. If I were you, I'd keep the SDB and load large primer 45 only, buy a 650 for everything else. Even with the 650, changing primer systems was a pain. So much so, I bought another 650. Now all I do is change toolheads to load .40, 9mm, 38sup, and .223. With the price of new .223 ammo getting higher, it's certainly worth reloading.
  13. The roller handle should be standard equiptment. I can't see how anybody would prefer the ball handle. I just got my 2nd 650 with a roller handle, which has a triangular roller handle. Ergonomics on the new one are much better.
  14. George Digweed's " It's got to be perfect" is the best I've seen..
  15. What choke should I use for slugs? Is modified too tight? Thanks
  16. I have a Brazos lim gun and by far it's the most accurate and reliable gun I've ever shot. 5,000 rnds no failures of any kind (except a squib) When I take it apart to clean it I can see the quality. You get what you pay for.
  17. As a matter of fact, just got back from the range today. G24, 180 jhp Zero, 4.3 V.V. 320, 1.135 makes 168 pf. Very accurate and soft. uote name='chmerr' date='Mar 11 2006, 06:18 PM' post='384361'] Does anyone have a load for a g24 (stock barrel) with n320 and 180 zeros? I think 4.2g at 1.150 will get there but I would like some input. Thanks I'm shooting a Brazos 5", 4.8 of V.V. 320, 180 jhp Zero, 1.220. The most accurate and softest load I've tried. Makes 167 pf. uote name='chmerr' date='Mar 20 2006, 08:17 PM' post='388212'] That's in a g24? Maybe I should shorten it down. I just long long from habit....STI Edge loads.
  18. I shortened mine about 6 inches, because I had a shelf I had to clear, I like it a lot better. No problems at all.
