  1. I want to invite everybody to our first IDPA match at The Addiction in Stamford TX. We have been doing USPSA for a while but this will be our first IDPA match and it will also be a classifier match. There will also be a rifle/shotgun side match. We will be hosting regular IDPA matches on the fourth Saturday of each month. Come out and shoot. Thanks, Jerome
  2. 1 Allow 15 rounds in production. 2 If you really want to grow revolver have a speedloader division because there are tons of 38 revolvers out there that people can start with without having to have a 625 or 610 to be competive. 3 Lump Single Stack and L10 together. Maybe with the 8 major 10 minor staying because there is no advantage (real or precived) to shooting L10 minor now.
  3. Our monthly Multi-Gun match will be this Saturday. We are located about 40 miles north of Abilene in Stamford, TX. For more info on the range, you can go to our website, theaddictioncsr.com, or our facebook page, facebook.com/theaddictioncsr Y'all come see us!

    Doubles?

I did see a guy shoot a perfect double at a match (I saw the edges of the bullet hole move when he shot the second time). But even though I told the RO it was still called a miss. It was definatly one of those prefect doubles that was called a miss. On a different note I worked a major match and the stage I worked had clamshell targets and several people wanted that second shot that was missing a grease ring from passing through the no-shoot. They didn't get it.
  8. Thanks for listing that. My wife thought the name up, and I thought it fit.
  9. theaddictioncsr.com Here is the link to the website. Sorry, not very computer literate Thanks Bill for mentioning the FB page.
  10. Hi, I wanted to invite everybody to The Addicition for our Monthly Multi gun match. We are a new range but not new to USPSA and multi gun. The match will be on Oct. 6 with a 10 am start time. The club is located just west of Stamford TX which is about 35 miles North of Abilene. The match will be 5 stages with four using 2 guns and 1 that uses all 3. Round count is 70 rifle, 60 pistol, and 60 shotgun. Those are approxamite but should be pretty close. There will also be 5 optional slug targets. We will have rifle shots out to 225 yards. Texas multi gun divisions and time plus scoring. You can check us out at theaddicitioncsr.com

    P-07 for Production

Does anyone have experience with the P-07 in Production? Any input would be appreciated.
  12. At a local gun shop i picked up a tacticool AR and proceeded to feel its ultra-gritty mil-spec trigger. From out of nowhere a clerk pops up and says, "Don't dry fire the guns! You could break the hammer off, especially on an AR."
  13. I've shot the last few matches at the double tap ranch in Witchita Falls with my revolver but no one else does. I've got one other guy who might shoot but I would like to see if any one else is interested? Their club matches are fourth Saturday and the next one is after Thanksgiving. For those who haven't been there the stages usally have plenty of movment and are fairly revolver friendly. Thanks
  14. I'm thinking of getting one of these guns to run in limited and am looking for someone whose run them for a realistic review. I have a 1911 that iI run in L-10 and an xd 9 (not an m) that I use in production and occasionly run in limited and I like it but of course don't like the minor aspect. I can't afford an sti or anything along those lines so its got to be polymer. I've found mag extensions, magwells, and drop in triggers for both. I like the feel of the ruger better and I keep hearing thats it feels softer recoiling than other 40s but I dont know. The rugers I have handled have also had better factory triggers and a shorter reset than the xdm's that were on the shelf beside them. The only real concern I have with the rugers is longevity and realibility as my xd 9 has been an excellent gun. I have ruled out glocks because of the grip and m&ps because of the trigger. Any input would be greatly appricated. Thanks RJH
  15. Thanks for clairifying(sp). I figured that was the case but wanted to double check.
  16. I was reading the rules and want to make sure about a point in the heavy-tactical class. It looks like to me if you are shooting a major rifle that complies with that class rules you are only required to have one hit on paper with all guns. Also there seems to be no major power handgun/pump shotgun requirement like in Heavy Metal class. If anyone knows for sure please let me know. Thanks
  17. Me and my son have started shooting revolver there some. We switch around with other divisions but we'll bring the wheelgun and gladly shoot it if someone else will shoot with one of us. I wont be at the championship but should be back at the next club match.
