^^^ I got mine yesterday also. Not going to be able to make CMMG so now it looks like Ozark, BRM3G, and FN hopefully. If nothing else gets in the way. Gonna get smoked but it'll be fun!

Donny, the gun functions well enough. In 1000 rds, I've had about 5 FTF's, mag issues I'm sure.

I have an STI Tactical .40 that i have had for approximately 6 months with less than 1000 rounds through it and so far I've had the rear sight literally fall off on the floor and the ambi safety break. I personally took the gun back to the factory to have the sight reset and now the safety will only function when activated on the left side. I know I can probably fix it but thats not the point. For a gun that costs this much money, I'm kinda pissed. When I personally took the gun back to the factory, they acted like they were doing me a favor fixing it. I've had 2 or 3 interactions with them and none have been pleasant. Now this. I'm not sure I want an STI anymore. Not company bashing, just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience with STI's or did I just get a lemon?

I have a STI 4.15 Tactical that I would like to turn into a 5" gun for Limited. What are my best options? I considered trading the complete gun, buying a Caspian slide with the stirrup and having it built, or trying to buy a top end already complete. Trying to find the best compromise between cost and performance. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

ceejayex, I just got mine from Carbon Arms last night (8rd not 12rd). haven't had time to try it out yet but it looks really well made. very substantial. I like that you can load traditional weakhand as well as two up. IMO good product.

I signed up as well. Not going to be competitive, just wanted to be able to learn from those much better than myself. Sounds like with all those who turned down pro invites and signed up for semi, I'll get my wish. Think I'll make CMM3G, BRM3G, and Ozark. Looking forward to it.

Hello all. I've been an occasional lurker for a while now but am ready to dive in. I live in SE Georgia and am a Law enforcementt officer who has been bitten by the 3 gun bug. Probably will spend most of my time here in that area. Thank you for all the amazing information put out here.
