  1. Found on youtube how to rivet them. As the mag block wouldn't be legal without glueing them. At least a rivet you can drill back out when I get the hell out of this state. Plus a box of rivets cheap. Link to youtube is 7410ray, 10-30pmag cal legal. Wont be doing anything for awile waiting to see what happens. Hopefully going to the march on Albany, maybe we can get it overturned.
  2. John , you and your wife stay strong and keep fighting we are hear for you. Mike
  3. Good thing to know so no worries then using a stock barrel. thanks guys
  4. Bladetech has a revolution pack holster, double mag pouch for $49.99. And they have an IDPA package holster and double mag pouch for $89.99. Any thoughts. Might consider this and a couple single pouches, as I have a limited waist and wallet now. Between buying guns mags reloading gear still need another belt ughhh
  5. Question is how could i change my 30 round mags to 10 round mags as can't have them anymore. Will proloy have to be pinned to be legal now, as can't be easily converted back is what the new law is saying. More clarification is coming from the the state about this. I don't want to get rid of them as the expense I have in them and in mag holders fit them perfect and easier for reloading during 3 gun comp. Any suggestions. Yes already hear move, not an option now just have to play with what we have been dealt with. Thanks for suggestions on any modifications or are there any kits you can buy that can make them 10 rders
  6. I know its been discussed before, here's the thing. I'm a skinny guy waist size 31" not alot of room on the belt. I'm thinking the double mag pouch will take up to much room and grabbing mags not in good position. Would I be better off with single mag pouches and how many single stack division. Any brands recommened. Also whats the the difference between the safariland 771 and 773. Just getting started in ss ordered a sti trojan .40, got my mags already. Proloy getting bladetech doh holster and take do off. Need input from guys who are like me lacking in the space around the waist on what works for them. As always thanks guys for helping
  7. My load is 5.2grns of w231 rainer 180grn fn oal1.130 and pf is 169 out of a glock 35. Nice shooting never had a problem
  8. Does the bladetech doh holster come with the tall sight channel for the fiber optic use. I know on my glock one it didn't and the front sight rubs the the channel real bad. May have to contact bladetech about that one even though its a year old .
  9. tohm....Just tryin to figure out which holster and pouches now. So much to choose from and not alot of money
  10. Our matches are usually about 100-120 rounds, so I think there shouldn't be a problem shooting them. Also I clean my guns after every match, and yes even the glocks I'm just anal about it. Will eventually get lone wolf barrels for my glocks but as of now i need bullets to keep shooting competitions. Getting awful low on supplys, hopefully things will turn around soon.
  11. Just an update. i ordered bayou's last nite. I have 3 emails from Donnie this morning from him answering any questions I had. This is amazing on a SUNDAY. Looking forward to using his bullets I will patiently wait the 8-10 weeks. This is great customer service, just thought I would share this with the members here. Were all in this together and your comments about his bullets pushed me to drink the green koolaid. Very pleased. thanks again
  12. grips came today from dawson. now have to start thinking holster and mag pouches
  13. i bought tripps system mags ordered last wed got them on sat. 10 of them for $402 think they gone up a couple of bucks. i got the 10mm 10 rounders. read the posts on the forums and seemed the way to go. just got my grips from dawson today for the trojan. gun wont be until end of feb.
  14. will either try international clays or wst or power pistol which ever powder i can get. just got an email today and dillion is shipping my dies fri. thanks for the heads up on the wait for the bullets will have to order this weekend. i guess i will drink the green koolaid and with my kid shootin have to save money somehow, and everyone is saying there good. thanks for the replies guys.
  15. I've been shooting rainers for years never had a problem, just the shipping and cost is getting more expensive. Now that my 15 yr old son shoots round count has doubled. going to make the switch to bayou bullets for glock 34 and glock 35 both stock barrells and also for my sw 686 revolver. From what I read there shouldn't be any problems shooting them thru the glock. Has anyone had any problems out of a glock stock barrel with them. Thanks
  16. good choice now save and get what you want. thats what i'm going to do, but lets all do me a favor DON'T TELL MY WIFE!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. tohm. i was in your same boat last week, couldn't decide on either .40 /.45. as i already load load for .40 and can use for limited 10, ss and shoot minor i went an ordered sti trjoan in.40crp. still might consider getting a .45 why??? cause i want one. so now i filled my needs now i will go after my wants. hope this helps get both its only money. might as well spend it for the government gets it.
  18. I'm a garage door installer i also hate cold garages. Working in them this past week when it was below zero sucks. Waiting for spring already
  19. shot today was a tough match. didnt have any problems with the ss remembered to take the safety off. my 15 old did good everything safe quite a few misses. learned alot as slow down shoot at your own pace. and trigger control squeeze dont yank. can't wait for the trojan to get here now
  20. my mags came today from tripp was only 3 days. talk about service. borrowing a single stack for tomorrows match. did some airsoft training with a 1911 model also today in basement. have to remember to take safety off. might be hard for this glock and revolver shooter. should be fun my first time shooting ss and will be my kids first match
  21. + 1 glock, parts are more available and cheaper to trick them out. i swithced from an sw mp to glock now have 3 glocks. looking for more. the mp was a nice shooting gun fit the hands great and the grip angle was perfect for me. but got used to the glock quick and havent looked back. im not a brand hater i would got to a local gun store and try them all out because they all feel different. and get what feels the best to you as they all are quality guns. its just a matter of do you want to stay in production or also try limited or limited 10. which you could easily do with a glock 35 or even a g34.
  22. thanks guys i think the extra money will be well worth it. and mike1005 thanks for the reminder doh is illegal in ss i forgot. glad the members here look out for each other
  23. i have to 2 gen3s and 1 gen 4. i like the gen 3s better but my son likes the gen 4 due to the mag release like a.roberts said. i only got the gen 4 as my other son is a lefty so when the time comes for him to start competeting it will be easier for him. have to try them both out. either way you still cant go wrong there glocks
