  1. It is, atlas. Filling down the safety is not ssp legal.
  2. They're not legal for ssp, but I know someone that might. Give me a few days.
  3. I saw the witness and compact, but compared to the Lim Pro safety, they lack the thumb rest I want. I would be happy with the S2 safety too however.
  4. They don't do that in IDPA. I didn't conform to the rules for the division so I got a DQ. I was able to shoot the match not for score
  5. That's awesome! I really like the safety on the Lim Pro, so this will suit me well. Thanks!
  6. Not for IDPA. It has to come off another gun that is SSP legal. Different than USPSA. 8.2.1.3.3
  7. I need the gun to fit the box they will be using. I dont want to argue that they allow a % larger than actual size. What model comes with the Gold team single sided safety? Im not oppose to getting rid of the right safety.
  8. I got DQed at a state IDPA match because my Limited Pro in 9mm didnt fit the box at the chrono stage. The gun actually fits inside the box perfectly, but the lid wouldn't close tight. The safeties are too wide for the box to close all the way. They were using a plastic "official" IDPA box from IDPA. So the box depth is 1 5/8' or 1.625. A caliper across my safeties measures 1.682. I cant argue the DQ too much because the gun was too wide, but it sucked. I want to stay in SSP division with this gun, but I need to change the safety. You guys know what other EAA guns are SSP legal so I can switch the safety and make it fit the box? I could just remove the right safety and shoot ESP, but Id like to keep it SSP legal. The Witness Elite Match looks to have the same as the Stock 2, but the website says it weighs 44oz. Can anyone confirm that?
  9. I have a 650 and although you cant adjust seating depth on the primers, the primer plunger thing that screws in from the underside of the plate can work its self loose. Check and make sure that it is all the way screwed in and tight. I've put about 3.5k CCI through my S2 without a single light strike.
  10. As a test, cock the hammer, hold the hammer back with thumb, squeeze trigger while continuing to hold hammer back with thumb, depress the FP with a punch and make sure the FP isn't contacting the FPB and slowing down the FP from striking the primer. My S2 lights off CCI with no problems with the same configuration you have.
  11. I haven't checked in in a while, but I'd like to add to this too. I spent $468 on parts. Titan hammer and grips were the most expensive. This was parts alone. Not a belt and holster or magazines. Just parts. I was also fortunate to have gotten my S2 at a good price of $912.
  12. I wish you had posted sooner. I got mine in the mail the day you posted this. I ended up getting a holster from J&L. It fits decent. However, when it clicks into the trigger guard retainer on the holster, the gun will keep going down about another 3/4". So the gun will move up and down 3/4", but be retained by the trigger guard bump on the holster will hold it. I might try and heat it up and adjust it. I have the blade tech for the Stock 2. The Lim Pro will fit, but you gotta crank down on the adjustment screws. Not a big deal for me since I have the external screws already. I don't like the fit of the blade tech for the s2 though. It's too sloppy.
  13. What are you guys using for a limited Pro holster? I'm using it for IDPA. I'd like to get a comp-tac, but they don't make them. I have a bladetech for my stock 2, but I don't like the fit of it.
  14. ...a one piece sear? I'm buying a used 9mm, but he says it came with a 2 piece sear. Not a huge deal, but I thought they came with a one piece
  15. Take the slide off the gun. Slip an empty case along the breech face behind the extractor. The extractor should hold the case pretty snug to the breech face. If it doesn't, the spring isn't installed correctly, or is the wrong spring, or the tooth on the extractor is chipped or worn at the wrong angle and can't hold the case.
  16. So the case in the chamber is just the spent brass, correct? If so, then it's not a double feed. You're having an extracting problem. If it's a live round in the chamber, then your getting a double feed. I would suggest you take a close look at the extractor for the extracting problem. Look at the mag if you're getting double feeds.
  17. I'm still waiting for them to come back into stock on EAA.
  18. ...anyone ever done it? Any reason you can't put a 9 barrel in a 38 super gun? Limited pro
  19. I run 147gr coated FP at 1.140 in the stock 2. So far I have about 700 rounds through without a single malfunction. Not that this has anything to do with stock 3 problems, but there has been some mention of OAL in this thread. These are the same rounds I use in the Glock 34
  20. Wise decision. You should always fit the sear to the gun.
  21. Take a look at the safety function with the slide off the gun. There is a square notch on the safety that should fit under the sear leg on the left side of the sear. You need to file down the underside of that hook on the sear until you can swing the safety up underneath it. Don't take too much off though. It's possible to take too much off the sear, and the hammer will drop is SA with the safety engaged.
  22. Do you have a light firing pin spring as well? Im running CCI with no problems. However I have the heavier Titan hammer.
  23. Did you check your FP safety yet? Im curious.
  24. Join xtremes email list. They odder discounts all the time.
  25. What PF are you running them at?
