    Kidney Stones

Ouch. Never had one... hoping I never do. Best of luck!
  2. The entire finale was a joy to watch. Afterall, that was the point wasn't it! Congrats to Dustin, even though I was pulling for Mike.
  3. I'm not sure I'll believe that without an MS Paint drawing! Left to right: AR Tactical, Winchestr 333, Federal Target Grade Automatch, CCI Mini Mag, CCI Subsonic
  4. Thank you! I will start focusing on reloads and doing some dry-firing to practice. Thanks for the kind words. The quick splits are typically just the close targets(5yds or closer), and I am not getting a complete sight picture. The longer shots I am making sure of a sight picture. I'll focus on making sure I see the front sight for every shot. For reference, these are my stage points/penalties, hit factors and stage % in the order that the stages appear in the video. Classifier(Stg 6): 34/10 3.3426 47.98% Stage 7: 64/0 4.3836 73.74% Stage 1: 99/10 4.6646 63.85% Stage 2: 82/0 2.3858 61.67% Stage 3: 89/10 2.5633 48.34% Stage 5: 138/10 3.7926 48.65% Also, these are the first place points/penalties and hit factors of each stage for comparison: 6: 34/0 6.9672 7: 62/0 5.9444 1: 113/10 7.3050 2: 86/0 3.8686 3: 100/0 5.3022 5: 156/0 7.7961 Good call on the barrel start. I didn't realize I screwed that up until you mentioned it. Can you elaborate on "staying behind my sights"? Thanks everyone... your comments are very helpful!
  5. Shot my 3rd USPSA event today. At a minimum I need to trust my shots, since I was dumping extra rounds on targets and screwing up my stage plan. Wound up with several targets that had 3+ alphas on em. All in all I feel like I'm progressing well though, and can't wait for the next match. ETA: We were permitted to shoot stage 4 for fun, so we nixed the activators, and made it 1 shot to the head.
  6. Congrats! My vote is for Jack (Daniels)
  7. What forum is that? A forum for the oppressed shooter, http://njgunforums.com/
  8. Federal Flight Control tends to stay together pretty well w/ modified and improved cylinder chokes.
  9. I think the pressure would skyrocket and you could have a KB. If you loaded them longer with less powder I suppose it might work...
  10. From what I understand, the AR Tactical ammo is designed with a longer nose to aid in feeding in AR-type rifles. Personally my 15-22 feeds Federal Bulk so I never bothered, but if I had feeding problems I'd give it a try.
  11. I love the idea of the PMR30, just wish we could get em in NJ. The same gun in .22lr would be fantastic.
  12. Looks like a lot of fun, but ditto on the fault lines.
  13. This dual lens idea seems fantastic... I may have to try it if I can find a gun-friendly doctor in New Je-... nevermind.
  14. Another vote for the LCT. This is my first and only press, and while it's not the fastest, it's a great low-cost option.

    Chrono data

That 3" barrel will probably put you right at the cusp for PF. For reference my USP has a 3.6" bbl.

    Chrono data

Long time lurker, first time poster here... Got to play with a chrono the other day and thought I would share my W-231 data with the forum. Averages were based off 10-shot strings. American Eagle 124fmj Sig P226: 1064fps average, 132 power factor 4.2gr w231/124jhp Sig P226: 1010fps average - 125.6 power factor Browning HiPower: 1019fps average - 126.3 power factor HK USP compact: 984fps average - 122 power factor 4.5gr w231/124jhp Sig P226: 1054fps average - 130.6 power factor BHP: 1069fps average - 132.6 power factor USP compact: 1056fps average - 131 power factor Both loads shot light in all three guns, and VERY light in the BHP. Hope this helps someone out!
