  1. MQW - pics please.and thanks for sharing. RUPIE - thanks for sharing.
  2. Any quailty Kydex will be good to go. I use a Sting-Ray, only because It was a DOH. -DOH are not SS legal, right?
  3. Is the 100,000 php the normal price for a G35 there?
  4. What parts are you looking for? My brother there may have some extra parts you need that he might want to sell.
  5. Just got mine back from the company for pin replacement.if it breaks again i'll try using drill. How did you preen it though?
  6. I bought my RIA Tactical for $400 in 2008, I think they go for $420 now. I put sights and a magwell on it. I shot the hell out of it, and has been my SS gun since I bought it. I'd guess I have 30k rounds through it, but I don't really know. My USPSA # is A62757, you can go look at all the SS and L10 matches I've shot and add up the rounds, then double that for practice. This spring, I put a new barrel in it (Kart EZ fit). The groups were beginning to open up. The gun runs 100%, and all I'll done for maintenance is change the recoil spring every 6000 rounds or until it shortens up. Like others have said, the same people that build the STI Spartan build the RIA. The slide and frame are made in the same factory. The only difference is the internals, as mentioned above. The RIA Tactical has my strongest recommendation. Having said that, its not the arrow that makes the difference, its the Indian... Wow.no modifications?just sights and magwell?what magazine and magwell are you using BTW?
  7. Thanks.just getting back to ss myself and still setting up gears.just need pouches and set up reloader and i'm good to go.
  8. Installed a DP ice magwell on mine and my chip match grade magazine with pads are "swallowed" when inserting. Thinking of changing it with SA or techwell.can any of you guys post a pic with your magazine inserted just so that i'll have an idea?thanks
  9. Mike21STI 29 August 2011 - 11:14 AM I'd say go with a Les Baer. They are more expensive but from my past I have found that I kept trying to find a "better" 1911, then I just bit the bullet and got a Nighthawk. If I were to do it again, I'd get a Les Baer they are less expensive then the Nighthawks and Wilsons but right up there with the quality fit and finish. +1 Just add magwell and extended mag release and your good to go.
  10. Wanted one checkered. Don't want to pay extra for checkering and the wait time.
  11. Thanks.I'll chek out sti. Have you tried the trojan? The checkering on the front strap looks less "aggressive" though than SA/kimber. Does it do the job? Also, where can i find used a baers?really appreciate your reply. I don't own a Trojan, but have shot one several on several occasions. The one that I have shot is an early example and has around 65-75k rounds through it. It still shoots good and is still tight. I just read your discovery about the CA legality part. This does limit your choices. Check Gunbroker.com for used Baers, Wilson's, Springfields or any other guns. Premium guns like Les Baer, Ed Brown, Nighthawk, Wilson appear at very reasonable prices from time to time on Gunbroker, you just have to keep a look out for them. Thanks for your advice. Got one from gunbroker. Still processing the papers. First time to buy from gunbroker. Should i pay with paypal or postal money order? Read that paypal does not support gun sales. Good luck on your quest. Hurley
  12. Got a baer! Papers still on process. Its fron gunbroker. Do you have experience buying from gunbroker?Should i pay with Paypal or postal money order? Thanks
  13. Leaning towards trojan as i read mostly positive things.just found out its not california legal!?! Guess i'll go for SA after the sale of my production gun.
  14. Thanks.I'll chek out sti. Have you tried the trojan? The checkering on the front strap looks less "aggressive" though than SA/kimber. Does it do the job? Also, where can i find used a baers?really appreciate your reply. WOW! SA 5-kimber 0 Thanks guys
  15. Thanks.I'll chek out sti. Have you tried the trojan? The checkering on the front strap looks less "aggressive" though than SA/kimber. Does it do the job? Also, where can i find used a baers?really appreciate your reply.
