  2. So, this is what our $25 membership fee gets us? Sorry, but 3 Gun didn't come about yesterday, if you want to be recognized as the preeminent organization that represents the sport then you need to be just a BIT forward thinking.
  3. Something tells me you aren't going to miss anything.... they can pee on the carpet
  4. The class rankings for 3GN are different than USPSA, instead of D,C,B,A,M,GM it is AM - Amateur M - Marksman HM - High Marksman SP - Semi-Pro P - Pro EX - Expert To get classified you have to shoot at a club that offers 3GN Qualifiers. There is a map on the front page of the 3GN Site that should help you. See this link for more details - http://memberships.3gunnation.com/content/html/clubseriesinfo.pdf Thanks Steve! You live in one of my favorite places.
  5. To the OP's comment about 3gun nation's web site, I have to agree, it's confusing. I've shot some 3 gun matches this past year and want to shoot more in 2014. I'd like to get classified, I think, but I'm not sure what the advantage is. I did spend the $25 for a membership so that I might sign up for the 4 (Regional?) matches next year. Is there a document or a link on the web site that explains the different divisions or someting for the new guy that explains how to go from A to B to C in 3gun nation? Thanks!
  6. This was already mentioned but first decide if you like single or 2 stage triggers. I'm a 2 stage guy and have Geisselle SSA's in both my AR's. I really like them.
  7. First 3gun match was with an FN-FAL, a Para- ordnance 45, and a benelli Nova. I sucked but It was a HOOT!
  8. Thanks! Is it actually in Augusta or is that just the name?
  9. Are there any recurring 3 gun matches around the Atlanta area? I'm planning on being down there the last week of this month and would like to shoot. Thanks!
  10. I too, put a JP comp on mine and it made a marked difference.
  11. Thanks! Been waiting for one of these.
  12. the only mods mine have are tubes. The only issue with the M2 is recoil - it REALLY does rock!
  13. I'd go with the Stag upper, I use one. I did swap out my comp for a JP, it made a noticeable difference. Truth be told, I’m actually thinking I’ll go to a medium weight 16” just to speed up the transitions. There are some scary accurate 16’s” out there.
  14. Interesting, I hadn't thought about the mechanics of this before. I just did what felt right, eyes facing my direction of travel and weapon basiclly kept at a 90 degree angle to my direction of travel.
  15. +1 on the spacer. I replaced the FCG on my P-16 with a Cylinder and Slide kit. Smooth.
