Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Woodland Brutality, May 14th and 15th at the Echo Valley Training center in West Virginia. 2 Gun match opens for public sign up tomorrow on Practiscore. Search under InRangeTV. You can see videos on YouTube of Desert Brutality and Finnish Brutality to see what is involved. Rifle/pistol, or PCC, also AK-47 friendly.
  2. Just received some of these yesterday. MAG CENT ARMS TP9 9MM 20RD BLK
  3. The holster that comes with the XD(M) fits the Match with the rail and is about $8 from CDNN. Works OK.
  4. If it is an M4 profile barrel it uses a carbine handguard. Almost all of the recent Armalite carbines use a midlength handguard.
  5. Find a local hobby shop that deals with RC cars, lots of small metric screws there.
  6. I received two of the new 9mm mags yesterday. Trying them in my Elite Match I found that they would only lock in place with a lot of force. Thought I might have to open up the mag catch slot, but upon further investigation found that the base plate was hitting on the bottom of the grip frame. A little bit of time with some 120 grit snadpaper and all is well now. Hope to try them out for function in the next couple of days.
  7. Another vote for the VTAC 2 point. Out here at our ACTS matches probably 75% of the shooters use the VTAC or the Vickers. Very easy to use once it is set up right. Easy transitions to the off side, and you can honk it down tight for transitioning to handgun and moving.
