  1. Match is progressing nicely. We're picking up some encouraging sponsorships: Glock and Saw Custom. I've also been told that some other guys will be picking up the match as well and that the "checks in the mail" (Larue Targets, DPMS, and MSTN). Things are looking good. More info when it comes in. 2. HK Full Size USP LEM 9mm not allowed in USPSA production. Just bought one. Very nice. HK is responding to the marketplace. The gun comes with a small magwell. Bummer. This is the type of innovation I love seeing. I wish we could encourage this type of thing. MHearn
  3. Jerry Harp: Rockin H Tactical Mhearn
  4. I was the RO on Stages 1 & 2. (Mark Hearn). I was the RO not the stage designer. I think Mike put me on those stages because Stage 1 kicked my butt and he wanted me to relive the memory of that experience over and over. (Mike the evil one). MHearn
  5. They are great representatives of the United States and the Armed Forces. Had the pleasure of taking a class with them and would highly recommend it. Take Hop up on the opportunity he is offering. MHearn
  6. Tammy (High Lady) I know your not the type to boast or brag or need recognition so I'll do all three for you. Congratulations. Proud for ya. Good to see your shooting coming together. MHearn
  7. Tony. True Stage 9 was tough. Thank the USPSA gods I didn't have to reset that one all day. But, I thought the true indication of an evil heart was the choice of Partial People Eaters as the classifier. Pain. MHearn

  9. Hop We are interested in stages. Please send them. We are looking for ROs as well (ROs shoot free and we'll buy your lunch each day). Come join us and we'll let you run a stage of your own design. What a deal! Hope you'll think about it. Sorry to hear about Mississippi 3 Gun. MHearn
  10. Yea. I have the same concern, but frustration took over from reason. Its early but after 300 rounds yesterday no troulble. Mhearn
  11. Sponsors update. Great news. We've picked up our main match sponsor: Sabre Defence Industries. They have agreed to donate three ARs and 1 upper to the prize table. Chris Patty and Chris' Winning Shooting Accessories will be sponsoring Stage 1. Please support our sponsors. MHearn
  12. I've had the same problem. Got a new pin and the thing keeps sliding around on me. I've been wacking the crap out of it trying to get a little edge on it so it will stay in but no luck. Yesterday, I used a file to cut a small notch in the middle of it for the other spring loaded pin in the middle to fit into. It seems to be in there pretty solid. We'll see. MHearn
  13. Been using the Clark Custom Carbon fiber for about three years. Like it and no trouble. I have a peg mount of the left side for a sling attachment and its holding up fine. Mhearn
  14. If we're sitting around wtih nothing to do, I'll run you myself. This is a serious offer, but I would not count on this being the case. MHearn
  15. Special Thanks to Scott Wilson at HK-USA. How many of us happen to have a spare set of Bo-Mars in their bag that they'll give a guy in need? Thanks Scott. His comment was, "I'm glad that the sight worked out for you. A lot of guys have been really helpful as I get involved in the sport (USPSA), and it's nice to get a chance to "pay it forward". MHearn

  17. Lets try this again. Can anyone give me a web address, phone number, or some kind of contact information on Bo-Mar? Mhearn
  18. Coming from Atlanta, I'd stay in Guntersville, AL. Take 1-20 west to 431 North at Oxford. Through Gadsden. Its not a fun drive. I make it regularly. You will come down a big hill into Guntersville. You will see the lake in the distance (Pretty). There is a Super 8 Motel at the bottom of the hill on the left. That's where we usually stay. Web site is Super 8 Motel Guntersville
  19. My Bo-Mar broke again. Can anyone give me a web address, phone number, or some kind of contact information on Bo-Mar? MHearn
  20. Robbie If your coming from Chattanooga, you probably would stay somewhere on Hwy 72 or in Huntsville on Hwy 231. If your coming from Atlanta up through Gadsden, then you would probably stay in Guntersville on 431. Let me know which way you plan on coming and I'll get a more detailed recommendation. Mhearn
  21. Yes, the other kids at the game will all be using Berettas. I don't want to feel left out. Mhearn Ouch. I thought they came with two grips (standard plus a smaller one).
  22. I need to pick up a Beretta before participating in an upcoming training exercise. I noticed the new 90-Two. Looks interesting. Anybody have any info on it? Mhearn
  23. From Mike Gettemy. Match director. Registration will take place at the Range Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. CST. First shots fired at 9:00. Match will continue Sunday morning. First shots at 9:00. We should be finished shooting in the morning and done by 2:00 p.m.
