Bayou, they are .401 but I have been told he will size them down if you ask.

Wsf 4.5gr under 200gr bayous oal at 1.180 makes about 172pf out of my 2011. You will be loading shorter so I'd say start at 4gr and work up from there

Looks good to me. It is very easy to navigate around.
When are you guys going to sell spare parts through the website?

I'm happy with bayou bullets (similar to bbi) I tested the 200gr bayou vs 200gr Xtreme and the bayous were more accurate.

Wsf, safe to make major even at saami specs

I went with the dillon 650 and am very happy with it

Three stitches in the Web of my hand has convinced me to case gauge every round that comes off my press.
Yikes, out of battery firing?
Luckily no, a miscalculated strike to the beavertail when trying to clear the malfunction due to the bulged case... lesson learned

Has anyone tried this chrono? If so have you had good results?

No idea the quality (and I'm guessing they're not made by STI given the cost difference) but Freedom Gunworks apparently has 2011 clone frames for $200-225:From my recent interaction with Fusion I was informed STI is manufacturing their 2011 frames with Fusion firearms marks on them. They are not manufacturing their own 2011 Frames.
Frame only no grip section $395
They are very good. They are made under the "ck arms" name.

I don't know about the fushion 2011 frames. I do have a ck arms frame that my pistol was built on that I am very happy with.

Thanks for the heads up. I have been looking forward to trying this powder for a while

The proprietary parts are a pretty big turnoff for me at least. I like my stuff to be interchangeable with common parts
I can understand not liking the proprietary magwell there are a bunch of others out there and different strokes for different folks. The trigger and mag release aren't a big deal to me, most people run the SVI trigger which is compatible and the mag release is most likely drilled and tapped ready for the button of your choice. So it doesn't bother me much.
I do know that I want one and will be getting one (hopefully sooner than later)

Hello: That is a very cool looking grip. Does anyone know what it weights? Thanks, Eric
I'm wondering the same thing, mainly to decipher if it's IDPA legal. Must not weigh more than 2oz over a polymer grip.
Not sure that rule applies. Technically you can buy the pistol in that configuration as long as it meets the 43 oz rule it should be good to go, no? If not then would any of the SVI pistols be good to go?

That's good to hear about the MSH. Did they say the magwell is the same or it just attaches similarily to SVI? My hang up would still come from only having one size and shape of available magwell for the grip. People like options that's why there are probably 6-8 magwell options currently on the market and they all fit the dimensions of an STI plastic grip. That is all fine and well if the proprietary grip manufacturer offers their own line of comparable sizes and shapes to the others on the market that fit their new dimensioned grip but until they do that it will be harder for people to jump onboard knowing the are stuck with the only one size, shape, weight or magwell. Hopefully I'm misunderstanding whether it just comes with a magwell, or that is the only one that will work on the grip.

They said attaches like the SVI. Not sure if the SVI is compatible with.

I just heard back from CK arms, they said that the grip is compatible with the SVI trigger, it comes with its own mag release, their magwell attaches like an SVI does. The MSH is a standard 2011 MSH but it's made out of metal.

Youtube has a ton of videos some are much better than others

Thanks to all that contributed with the hands on experience and comparisons.

Did any of you shot show attendees get a chance to check out the metal grips that ck arms released? I am curious to see an opinion on them.

4.5gr wsf under 200gr bayous at 1.185 oal

If you load them up and let them sit for a week the springs will compress. Part of the process of breaking the springs in...
-
The answer is some will work and some will not. Supposedly they recently tweaked the design a bit more so they will work but I haven't tried the newer ones to confirm that
-
That will give you some additional weight.
Not sure if you have a steel MSN but that will add some more, you can always add a tungsten guide rod too.

Like Waktasz said, regular guide rod and 10# spring. I ran a 9# for a while to and never had an issue. I think the recoilmaster is not necessary
