MOVING!!!!!!!!!!
Even tho it is to a new condo, my 67 year old body can't keep up with my immature 18 year old brain. If all goes well, this will be the last move.

Used a ton of 700X in 45, 38 special, and 9mm when I started reloading as it was cheap and plentiful. Ran it under lead, FMJ, and plated. Worked OK, but there are better choices for each caliber. I found it to be dirty and produced a lot of smoke with just about every load. YMMV

Fort Wayne, Atlanta, Warsaw, and Angola all have active USPSA clubs in your area. Check the USPSA site club finder for details. www.uspsa.org

I thought you might be working six days a week.

Three hours.

I love shooting pins but the sport has almost died here in northern Indiana. The best combo I have found is a 230 grain lead sledge Hammer bullet out of my 627 PC at about 900fps. That combo is hard to beat!
Holland MI second Saturday of Dec, Jan, Feb, and Mar. Very well run match. www.tcrgc.org Get there by 8am for sign up.

I always thought of Ken as the original "gun is tool" guy. Didn't care what it looked like, as long as it ran.

Other possibilities besides a tight shell plate, index star has a wing bent down and catching on the loaded round ejector or loaded round ejector is pushed down to far and dragging on the shell plate.

gino_aki's data is right there with an old Winchester loading book I have.

The price on a box that I have says 36.95 per 1500. Now that is from last fall when 1k of Win were running about $30. I'm sure the same ratio should apply now, tho much higher
Ron, I'm to old school to know how to post a picture of the box. The ones I have are in a small square black box with white lettering.

Have used both SRP and SPP with good results, also seem to be a good bargain in the 1.5K box.

Try 25.5 to 26 gr., works well in my 16" upper.

I've had good luck with my Mech Tech in 9mm. Fits on a Glock frame, runs fine with the 33 round big stick.

Dave, start calling up the ladder until you get someone to explain why they aren't doing their job. If that doesn't work, ask for the Postal Inspector's number. Last resort, call Upton.

I don't know if it means much to some people, but the less entries in the "M" (miss) column, the better I do. If old and slow, better be accurate.

"We have a bunch of really nice guys from Akron Ohio driving up every month to the Detroit area for our match." Roy, I think that is the nicest thing you ever said about those guys!
Roy and his gang have exported their match style and we now have another clubs stepping up to seven or eight stages each month. The only problem I've ever heard expressed about more stages is, in the heat, they can be a very long day (especially for those of us who are "senior"). His point about catering to the core group is right, without this group the match would not be successful. IMHO

Good choice, I think they will start this month on the 16th. Dress warm, the sun doesn't get up over the trees until noon. Another good match is the one east of you in Portland off I96 on the 2nd Sunday starting in April.

Never spend loose change or one dollar bills, except for tipe, adds up in a hurry.
How about those Mech Tech ?

Couldn't agree more. Mine has run great for years atop a G17.
