Welcome back.

He looks younger every time I see him. Must have a touch of Dorian Gray in his DNA.

100 yards is it's Max. I can keep all the shots on a STD target, but it is not a good group. Do not know what 40 Cal would do. Good luck.

I have a Glock based Mech Tech in 9mm and have had no problems. The only FTF was with aluminium cases, otherwise runs great

It's not the shipping, it's the handling!

BORCC shoots USPSA on the 4th Sunday, they are located in Buchanan Mi just north of the Indiana line. Closer than Ft. Wayne, Warsaw, or Atlanta.
-
I too am nearsighted and shoot Limited and Production without my distance Rx. The front sight is in focus and I can see the targets well enough at the distance most matches place them. 50 yard standards would be a challenge tho. I will say that I shot fuzzy front sight for many years and can't say that my scoring has suffered or improved either way.

Sandy is good people, I have shot with him down there and at least once at BORCC when he was up visiting family. Hanson's puts on some great matches.

Sorry Kevin, I was looking at last years info. I believe it is again at Oak Hill, but I don't have the dates.

At the beginning of the reloading session and then, if more than 300 rounds, when I recharge the primers. The way I sit at the reloader allows me to see each charge as I turn the star, so I am not to concerned unless something looks way out of whack. The standard Dillon knob has never turned while I was reloading.

Bruce, Niles shoots a Thursday night three stage USPSA style match and then their regular 4th Sunday match, not sure when they staryt.
www.borcc.org/uspsa.htm should have the info. Rumor has it they have put in a new ventilation system.

Go with what you want from what you have learned since you bought the first one. New gun becomes primary, old gun backup.
-
No offense intended, but your initial post did not specify what type of match. This caused the misinterpretation of gun in hand at the start.

Try www.swfps.com , good bunch of guys.

Herky, short for C130 Hercules transports I worked on and logged a bunch of air miles more than 40 years ago.

Still using the SV I bought in 1996 every weekend.

I just did the same thing, it was accurate right down to the last charge. Next to last drop was good. Very accurate. When it got down to the "v" shaped divider I weighed the amount in the powder measure and calculated how many more loads were available and it was right on.

Ryan and his group put on a nice match today, glad we were able to travel down for the shooting. Thank you

On behalf of the Kalamazoo gang, please express our condolences to all of Brian's friends and relatives. A great guy and dedicated to the sport. RIP

www.swfps.com if you haven't seen the site should tell you everything you need to know. Sandy and his folks are great and put on some very good matches. Haven't shot there in awhile, but doubt things have changed much. Go and shoot, have fun.

Go sit on the ones you are interested in, pay attention to the angle of your knees, where your feet are, and how you think your butt will feel after an hour. At our age it is all about comfort.

I use the conical seating end for both, 230 round nose and 200 SWC, without changing anything. No problems feeding in my Les Baer. Give it a try without switching before you reset everything. I set mine to the 200 SWC and used the same setting for the 230s. Good luck.

That old, it might be worth it to send it to Dillon for a look over and bring up to 550B specs.
DQing a shooter on another squad?

Maybe not in this case, but how many are aware that the scorekeeper is the second RO on the COF. Foot faults, procedurals, 180's, and other safety concerns. I almost never see the scorekeeper actively involved (at least at the local level) during the COF. Maybe it is not covered during the training, but even if not certified, the scorekeeper should be aware of what the shooter is doing.
