  1. What is TTS? As for the clamping kit, I will see if I can call and add it to the order. I wasn't sure if I should order it to start out.
  2. I was using the "Chris' tips" for the vice. It stated that the 4" vice was too large for this machine...
  3. (other than the CNC bits)
  4. I hate you all! Last night I ordered a LMS 3960, vice, tool holders, indicators, dials, and a few other pieces....
  5. The slide movement is pretty normal. As for it not resetting, is this one of the connectors that you need to fit the solid trigger stop? If so, you haven't taken enough off...
  6. I ran a lighter spring in mine temporarily. I found out that for my bolt to open, I had to have the gas open the same exact amount no matter what my spring weight is. So I decided to put the spring rate back to standard so that the carrier moves as slowly as possible...
  7. To kill cookies and cache in IE>> Tools>>Internet Options>> Click on the delete button 2/3rds the way down the general tab. Firefox>> Hold control+shift and hit the delete key I was still having problems as of 11pm last night after blowing everything out of the browser, wil have to check when I get home...
  8. If you were to start over, would you go with (I would assume this the one you have) http://www.harborfreight.com/two-speed-variable-bench-mill-drill-machine-44991.html or would you step up and go with : http://www.harborfreight.com/1-1-2-half-horsepower-heavy-duty-milling-drilling-machine-33686.html ?
  9. Well, granted it isn't an XD, I got mine today and put it in my Glock 22. Will get it out to the range on Thursday and see what it does.
  10. I have a 15" on my 18" setup and love it!
  11. I think I might have to try one on my Glock. edit...never mind, I just ordered one...
  12. Sweet. The question then becomes how do I approach a situation if an RO tries to bump me to open? It doesn't look like this information is in the current rule book yet.
  13. Currently the USPSA rule book lists: •Replacement barrels – provided they are the same length as original factory standard Is this something that is supposed to change with the new 2013 rules?
  14. Have you shot a major yet with enough GM's to get it listed as a classifier match? If so, how did you compare them them?
  15. Just installed the Zev race connector, reduced power Zev plunger spring, and Wolff reduced power striker spring last night. I did a little tuning on the surfaces and a bit of geometry changes on the trigger bar and plunger... I am rather pleased with it That being said, I do this to all of the glocks I have owned and nearly all of my friends....

    GEN4 Beavertail

My Gen 4 22 came with them here is the ugly turd:
  17. I run my reloads. They are consistant at 168 PF. Yes, I chamber check, and never had a problem with my reloads. I'm pretty darn anal about them. Blued. There are no unordinary marks on the frame or slide. No evidence of odd impacts or wear. Everything seems to be fit correctly. I shot the gun in a match Sunday, and nothing changed. I'm going to keep an eye on it, and continue shooting the gun. If that is the case, I would see if you can have someone just weld the crack up and refinish the slide....
  18. My wife is going to hate you soo much. I'm going to be picking up a mini-mill in the next few months and starting my own build...
  19. I don't think the finish had anything to do with the crack or crack propagation There has to be something impacting the slide to cause it to crack in the first place, as there isn't enough of a jerk from normal cycling to cause that type of material fatigue. My money is on that the guide rod channel is striking the frame somewhere just in front of the barrel lug channel. Can you post a picture of the top of your frame?
  20. Does anyone know someone who has one? I would love to be able to get some measurements from it to figure this one out. The only thing I can think of is that maybe their locking area may be narrower?
  21. I agree. Most other manufacturer's barrels work with either...
  22. I ended up just ordering a KKM. I'm too impatient to wait for a barsto...
  23. Marketing Team (Wilson Combat Support) Apr 08 13:27 (CDT) Matt, Unfortunately, its more than just the guide rod assembly. While it may look like the Gen 3 and Gen 4 barrels are "nearly the same", they are not compatible. The barrel we sell will NOT work reliably in a Gen 4 pistol. Thanks for your interest. Is this something that be solved by swapping out the guide rod assembly, or are there other part compatibility issues? Thanks for your time, Matt Huhn
  24. Ouch... JB weld it back together?
