  1. I use Acme for 147 gr, and Blue Bullets for 125 gr. I like them both. Differentiate for safety reasons, so I can always tell which one is which (ACME are bright red for those who have never used them). Have used Bayou in the past, they all seem equivalent to me frankly can't tell which one is best. All are consistent, accurate enough for IDPA and USPSA.
  2. I converted mine to a G, so that is not an issue. Safety mustn't be off.
  3. I am looking for a somewhat hot load to cycle my CX4 carabine efficiently and a friend suggested a 124 gr Berry's plated round nose pushed by 4.0 gr TiteGroupwith a 1.152" COAL. I use Blue Bullets which are 125 gr. So how do I adjust the recipe? Just deduct one gr of powder? Or how does it work, am not clear on what kind of calculation goes into factoring a different bullet weight. Also, on a different brand, do you simply adopt the same COAL or -if not- how do you arrive at an optimal COAL?
  4. I run a PX4 compact in IDPA, still learning it but I really like it and found it 100% reliable in over 1,500 rounds of mixed ammo. It's a great gun.

    SIG Legion Series

Bought one myself, and I agree with your comments completely. I think it's a high quality gun, not one the past few years marketing gimmicks that risked to drag Sig's name in the mud. Hope the quality holds up to serious testing but I plan to try this gun in matches as well. The first few mags were amazingly easy smooth and accurate in standard drills.
  6. I enjoy shooting my Px4 compact 9mm in IDPA, I am shooting better and better with it. Have seen another one once, but in general Beretta's are hard to come by.
  7. Nice video, I wish you weren't hoarding all those Elite II though: as of now, I have shot a 92FS in IDPA and love it, but in dim light the sights are not easy to acquire. Would love to get an Elite, but haven't been able to yet. Getting teased at matches, last one was a guy who told me "nice, lots of girls shoot Beretta's at IDPA matches". For what is worth, I did my first qualifier with my Storm sub-compact, because the 92 was getting a trigger job in PA, and had a lot of fun shooting my Storm. Made MM, but ehi! I had shot only 3 matches then, so I wasn't unhappy at all. Thank you for the vide, watching you shooting is always a pleasure.
