Thanks, going to give this a try tomorrow....prob really have a mess on my hands.... P.S. This is a czechmate.....
  2. I've heard these can be a bear to install but nowhere can I find the instructions or step by step on how to install. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...
  3. Sorry didn't see your post until just now. Yes it was all as good as I could ask for, he's actually putting together my first AR for 3 gun currently...
  4. I had Dustin put a .204 upper together and everything was exactly as I has asked. Hope this helps. Good Midwest folks..
  5. I have some 3N37 that I'm going to try for major, but for now just shooting light loads for steel challenge. Will make the plunge into USPSA soon. I took the comp off my gun and shoot it that way with the red dot, it's much more predictable for soft loads....
  6. Just some random loads that I've been playing with and what has worked and what has not. I've shot the Bayou 115, 124, 135 and 147's with 3.5 grains of N320. 115's were snappy, couldn't tell much difference between the 124 and 135 both soft and accurate 147's did not shoot to well. So I loaded them down to 3.0 grains, 115's would not lock the slide on the Czechmate but shot well in both guns. The 124 and 135 were both very soft and accurate with the 3.0 grains, for some reason the 147's are not cooperating. I'm trying to find a load to shoot in both guns and is seems 3.0 of 320 with 124/135 loaded to 1.085 shoots very well and runs both guns reliably. Curious as to what others have worked up for steel loads for these guns. Chrono is down and will be getting a new on soon. These two guns are crazy accurate. Sorry for the rambling....
  7. I'm using a 124 gr Bayou. This problems does not seem to effect anything just does not look "perfect". Maybe I'm being to picky
  8. Yes I'm using mixed brass. This little "bump" does not cause any problems with chambering and is very hard to see. I really don't want to sort brass unless I have to in order to fix a problem. I cant figure out why this is on one side and not the other, bullet seems to be straight. Using bayou's
  9. Ok have a quick question...I'm using the Dillon dies and the Lee Factory Crimp die. On some of the finished cases its a perfect hour glass and there is no "bump" at the base of the bullet on the outside of the case. Some of the cases have a slight "bump" on just the one side at the base of the bullet. I'm at a loss of how to fix this? Thanks guys.....
  10. I currently have some bayou 124 RN and Rainer 115's cmj's I think, had them setting around a while. Yes I have one pound of 3M37 I bought to try MAJOR. I never thought about shooting the non comp barrel with the red dot. So with the comp installed it would be tough to shoot minor reliably? Thanks for all your help, I'm new to this Major/Comp deal.
  11. I know this will be good trading stock. I'm only willing to trade a 4lb jug of it for either Autocomp, Silhouette or HS-6 maybe 3N37 I did score a pound of it lately.
  12. Thanks for the help... I will ask around. I've only watched a couple USPSA shoots I have never actually done it however I'm getting geared up to partake. I have recently acquired and Accushadow and Czechmate to fill the CZ addiction. This all started with some rimfire steel challenge matches. I will ask around locally. I bought the powder locally and have 12 and maybe 16 lbs of N320. I've been using it but want to play with the Czechmate that is still unfired. Kneeling, can you help me out with shooting minor through the Czechmate? Will a soft minor load be as flat as a major load that is running the comp correctly? I plan on shooting steel challenge with the mate first to get used to it. Would I be better of with a soft minor or just shoot major for steel? Thanks you seem to be on top of this stuff.
  13. Can you legally ship powder from person to person without paying a hazmat fee? I have some N320 that I would consider trading for a good 9 major powder but I'm not sure of the process involved. Thanks Jeff
