  1. -I reload but just for grins I buy factory ammo just to see what my chrono reads. I have tried and shot many and Sellier & Bellot was the most consistant ammo I ever used.
  2. 15000 rounds last year at 1.135
  3. http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp
  4. I run a Lee 4-die set in 40S&W and also in 9mm. I run Hornady One Shot case lube on my brass. 10's and 10's of thousands of rounds of "works great". Same here.
  5. Everybody that reloads at my matches uses HP's.
  6. The only spare part I carry in my range bag is the recoil spring.
  7. I like 4.5 of Clays at a 1.130 OAL with the 115.
  8. Thanks Sarge, That makes perfect sense.
  9. Thanks, Sounds like a good round number. 700X AutoComp Power Pistol Unique
  10. Hey guys I just got my 1000 boolits from Montana Gold of 124 JHP and just wondering what is your favorite OAL is. With my RN I settled for 1.135 and real happy with that. All my factory HP are 1.074 but not really sure I want to do that. This is really for my matches comming up. I will test couple hundred for sure before of course. Thanks
  11. I like AutoComp but it is really easy to double charge. I really can't get it to meter through my powder measure very well because the grains are so small and almost have to force it. After 8 range trips with my G19 & 17 this is what I got with real nice groups. 115 5.2 OAL 1.135 124 4.8 147 3.8 40 S&W G 23 155 7.2 OAL AVG 1.125 165 6.6 180 6.1 Don't have chrono
  12. Can you let us know how many grains of Auto Comp you are using with the 115s? I worked up to 5.4 grn with Berry's 115RN at 1.135
  13. Thanks Duane for that. Ok guys this is what I figured out and what I did. First off go to http://www.gssfonline.com/registration.cfm then scanned this http://www.gssfonline.com/pdf/forms/Join_renew.pdf then fill it out then rescanned then e-mailed it to them. Request your Pistol Certificate now. I wrote it on the form with big bold letters. Ok you join for one year for $35.00 and all you have to do is after you get your certificate is go here fore a LE dealer near you at: http://gssfonline.com/GSSF_PISTOL_PURCH_LIST.pdf I paid $515 for a G19 at a gun show and had it 20 min later. As it looks I will pay $398 for a G23 RTF. If you want some good feedback go here. http://glocktalk.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=37 Hope this helps. Robin
  14. On Jan 20th I emailed my application to GSSF and today Feb 13 I got my Pistol Certificate. Can’t believe I’m so excited about a piece of paper LOL. The 15th [if there open] I will go get my new G23 [if they have one] and Tuesday hopefully start putting FMJ down range. I want to thank Donna at GSSF. Going to order my 40 S&W Lee Die kit and will start reloading when ever I get some brass. That’s all.
  15. Do you guys use case gauges. I reload 9mm and wonder if I even really need it for a Glock but curious in what brand is your favorite. Thanks
  16. I have had good luck so far using Berry' 124 RN with Bullseye with 4.3 grn at 1.130 OAL and the 124FN with 1.120 OAL with my G19.

    Facts to Ponder

FACTS TO PONDER: (A) The number of physicians in the U. S. is 700,000 ( Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000 © Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171. Statistics courtesy of U. S. Dept of Health Human Services. Now think about this: Guns: (A) The number of gun owners in the U. S. is 80,000,000. (Yes, that's 80 million..) ( The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500. © The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188 Statistics courtesy of the FBI So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners. Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do." FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR. Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!! Out of concern for the public at large, We have withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention
  18. Thanks Walter That helps out. I will start using lead data.
  19. When I go to range which is indoors at this time I shoot 500 rnds of 9mm from my G19 with 20 15 rnd mags and 3 33 rnd mags in one hr. The reason for all the mags so I don't have to pay for all that time reloading and such. The other 100 rnds is reloads that I test out. I try to do this min 0f twice a month.
  20. Hey Guys, See why I’m going crazy. This is with the 700X. Lee Book 124 4.3 to 4.8 at 1.135 Lyman Book 125 3.8 to 4.2 at 1.075 IMA web site 125 3.0 to 3.6 at 1.125 I have the Berry’s 124 FP See why I’m a little hesitant. Never ever seen a 125. Plus the fact that the starting grns for Lee is more than the Max for the Lyman. Which one would you go by. Thanks again Robin

    Glock Information

If you can go to Barns & Noble the Glock Magazine is out for about $5.00 and they have all the new models in there.
