What state are you in? I live in Orange County California. But can't make it on the weekends. I'm retired, and keep my weekends free for my family. Where are you located?

I'm heading there next week, and want to do some cappin'.

I'm using a TK on 8 round TK clips. I'd love to try one before I buy it. Anybody in So Cal have one I can try?

Whoever invented the Texas Star should be tied to one, and tossed in the ocean

pretty badly I started shooting USPSA (we used to call it ip-sic) back in the late 80', but haven't shot much pistol since the mid 90's. I shot an IDPA match on Saturday, and came in 25th out of 47, so I was happy about that. Today with my new revo (627) that my master gunsmith buddy (Grey Lightening) built me, it didn't go as well On stage 2 I came in 18 out of 29. On stage 3 I came in 19 out of 29. Since it was my first time shooting a revo in a tournament I was happy with those scores. Unfortunately there was also a stage 1 and a stage 4 On 1, Easier As You Go, I came in 27th, and on stage 4 there was a Texas Star. It kicked my butt. Again, 27th. But I'm hooked, from now on its revo or no go.

Anybody else shooting it this weekend?

I've got this old 1911 that my uncle gave me, he was in the Army (at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds) in WWII. I'd like to get a trigger job, beaver tail, and better sights. Anybody got "a guy"? Thanks

As I said, I've got the Speed Beez and I like it. Revolver holsters aren't rocket science. Pick which ever one you want, and I'm sure it will work for you.

I shot my first IDPA match at the Phoenix Rod and Gun Club at South Mountain last week, and it was a blast. Any of you guys shoot there? (P.S. I didn't come in last place, was safe, and had fun)
