  1. Happy New Year everyone! Don't get to drunk tonight, because registration opens at 8am tomorrow, Jan !st on Practiscore, for the Jabs extreme Alabama Sectional. Stages are out for approval and I'll post them as soon as I can. Just a reminder, the Jabs Extreme Steel Target Challenge is April 1-3 and registration is open now on Practiscore. These are two separate matches.
  2. I just finished having the 3Gun4Vets match that was taking all my time and I have one more big thing Dec 5th when it is over I will be making announcements about registrations and other things…
  3. The 2016 Alabama Sectional will be held March 11th and 12th at the Dothan Gun Club, just outside of Dothan AL. There will be ten stages and I'll try to keep it in the tradition that EAGC set for it. This is my second time running a large match (Jabs Extreme Steel Challenge) So pleas be patient with me while I sort it all out.I'll be posting more info as it goes. Dan Mitchell Dothan Gun Club

  6. I just wanted to say thanks for putting on a great match, it was awesome. Great stages, lots of fun!
  7. I've always had great customer service from Power Factor, Sean's a great gut to order from!
  8. I've always had great customer service with power factor. Sean's a good guy to order from!
  9. I am a member at AIM. If that helps. I'm not sure if I can be counted as a member at more than one USPSA clubs.
  10. So... looking at the AIM website, it says the USPSA match is on the second Saturday of March. Is that correct?
  11. Actually Tri State USPSA is the 4th Sat., I would like to see the Blakely USPSA match on the 2nd Sunday so it won't be back to back with Ti States match.
  12. I think you would get more participation if you had a pistol only on one weekend and rifle only or even better a 3 gun match on a different weekend.
  13. The fourth Sunday would be a great day for the match, it would not Conflict with anything in this area that I know of.
  14. Southeast Alabama 104 and 90% humidity! Gotta love the long practice sessions.
  15. Congrats Bobby. There goes the shooting budget
  16. Where in Alabama do you live? I live in Dothan and shoot six matches a month. If you are in the area contact me. Dan.
  17. How was the box set up? was it around the picnic table's legs? Or could you have exited the table and shot? If they were obscured by barrels, could you have jumped up on top of the picnic table and shot them all from an elevated position? There was no box, it had to be shot from within the confines of the table legs. The targets were too close to the barrels to shoot from over the top. You just had to find the correct angles and remember which targets you shot from where.
  18. I've shot a stage where you start seated at a picnic table gun and mags on table, targets were obscured by barrels. You could stand and shoot, but it would put you in a very unstable and uncomfortable position.Every one shot it sitting down and sliding from side to side to see and shoot each target.
  19. Take your time and shoot as many open guns as possible. See what you like, don't buy on impulse. Good luck!
