Thanks, I did some digging after I posted, and I don’t think it’s for me. I only load pistol calibers, and 90% of that is 9mm. I never cared what my brass looked like, as long as it functioned flawlessly. I will stick with dry tumbling for now at least.
no problem
I'm not super concerned about the appearance just want the brass clean.

What is all the fuss about wet tumbling? Is it really much better than corn cob tumbling? Sounds messy, how do you even do it? How big a batch of brass can you do at a time?
theres probably a whole discussion here already I should go look for….
In short, since it is done after decaping, the primer pockets are cleaned as is the inside. I've done it for my bolt gun stuff ( 6 CM, 6 GT, etc ) but not 223 or 9mm.
The brass can come out looking like new.

Sorry for your loss Chris - Sounds like Roger was the kind of shooter we could use more of.
May he rest in peace.

I'm a big fan of the Safariland 015
Super adjustable and solid
I'd recommend trying some different ones out at a local match if possible

I used a dremel with a sanding drum, took it down below flush to the comp until I saw the outline of the pin, then flipped it over and tapped with a hammer until the pin fell out
I'll vote for this too. A hand file would probably work too.

Depending on if there are any slugs required, IM is where I'd start.

A search of the completed auction on GB for SPP indicate a price of $ 200/K

On March 30th I ordered a case of 124s from MG and they shipped the same day.
3 days later they arrived at my local hub and 3 days after that were stuck on in route to final destination.
I requested a package search from USPS - nothing.
I called Norm and he suggested I file a stolen package report. That did nothing.
So I kinda forgot about it and what do you know, 8 weeks after it left MT in arrived in LA by way of the ATL.
The USPS is really mismanaged as far as I can tell.

I was listening to a podcast from Stoeger a week or two back; I think it was an older one, but not sure how old. He was talking about the 10 round restrictions and mentioned shooting a match in California and everyone just magically had full-capacity mags for Open.
The laws here a bit convoluted to say the least.
Use to be that if you owned them ( >10 rd mags ) before 2000 they were grandfathered in and you were GTG.
Then the law changed and you couldn't even have grandfathered ones. Then the law was challenged and overturned for about a week IIRC so everyone went out and bought standard capacity mags like there was no tomorrow. The judge said hold up and put the law back in place ( no more buying and selling ) but exempted everyone who just bough the mags from it so possession is OK.
So yes, pretty much everyone who shoots open or limited has full capacity magazines.

Well, I found some N320. They only want $200.00 for a four pound jug, plus $37.00 HazMat, plus shipping. I think I'll pass.
I snagged some off Midway in early March - $ 162 delivered

I've been happy with the Taran Tactical stuff but not familiar with the magwell you have.

I got lucky and snagged some at my Bass Pro in SoCal a week ago. They are out there but finding a LGS with them is impossible; Quite a few put them on GB.

I use a drop in Timney - no issues at all. Several of the guys I shoot with use a Hiperfire.
Everyone is using the CMC pins

About the only way to increase the mechanical accuracy of a Glock is with barrel fit. If you buy a drop in aftermarket barrel you are throwing away accuracy. If you are going to do it, do it right. Get a fitted barrel from Bar-sto
I'd have to agree with Matt on this. You may get lucky and get a barrel that locks up nice and consistent or maybe not. With a fitted barrel, you will never wonder. One less variable in the mix.

If I'm just decaping 223, I run a FW Arms universal decap die. The Lee/Dillon/RCBS all work too unless you have an automated press then you are way better off with the FW Arms one.

I'm experimenting with the 95 gr bullet from RMR and working up a really light load with titegroup. I'm at about 100 PF right now It cycles my gun (gmr 15 w/5 steel) so now I'm ready to start practicing with it. I wonder what the upper echelon of pcc shooters use at nationals, let's say gm level. I wonder what the winner used this year.
I would suspect most of the top 20 aren't shooting a load that will function in a pistol.

I agree with Tom - the SMK 142 seems to shoot well in a variety of guns and isn't too sensitive to jump.
For the heavies, H4350 is the go to stuff ; Varget works well on the lighter bullets. Everything else seems to be gun sensitive. There are some great threads on snipershide if you care to take the time ; 38 pages ~ 1850+ posts.
I had great luck with Horandy dies. Was able to get ammo with virtually zero runout ; the indicator just wiggled slightly. That being said, I'm a huge fan of the Redding stuff.
