  1. Mossbeerg 930 and have barrel cut or I just found a browning silver stalker, synthetic stock 26" barrel on sale for 150 more over the cost of 930 with cut barrel . Only thing is that its a 3.5 chamber..normally a 1200 msrp..

Going nuts trying to decide on a shotgun. Seems each day there is a new one im looking at.

  2. And which 930 model comes with a non ported barrel? The turkey or waterfowl?

neither comes w/ a non-ported barrel....you have to special order the non-ported barrel from Mossberg directly.

So you can't use in in TO unless you buy separate barrel or have it cut?

  3. Just got the barrel today and the finish looks great. Very smooth on inside, especially when compared to stock. The stock barrel seems to have tiny cross cuts. Where as the kkm is like glass. My OAL of 1.124 seems to work fine, even had a round drop in the kkm that wouldn't in the stock barrel. The fit is nice and tight when I push down on barrel while in gun.

  4. Should work okay, but probably worth a lot more than an SLP. That is about a $1300 gun. If I recall, it has the heavy piston so you should look at getting a lighter piston. You'll also need a mag extension and barrel clamp. Unless you are stealing it for like $600, not sure I would go that route. Even then I'd resell it. The standard X2 is a better buy IMHO.

Doing a little more research looks like it sold for about 800. It is a light field model

Would it not run reliably with the heavy piston?. If its selling so cheap wonder if there is a problem?

  6. Thanks alot...if I get the +6 tube, would I need a clamp? And would the +6 be about even. It only has the improved cylinder choke. Will that work or would I need something else? Do you know if that runs the invector plus choke and does that matter. I basically know zero about shotguns.

    Thanks for the help

  7. Hi looking for a inexpensive shotgun for 3 gun and found a super x2 elite with wood furniture. The recover is silver with gold inlays of ducks. It has a 26" VR barrel. Is this the same gunparts basically as a fn? Would this work for abuse it would get in a match? Its listed at only 6.7 pounds

  8. Not sure exactly your question. But you can go to walmart and pick up a haircut trimmer set from wahl. They have different size clipper attachments

I already have a hair/bead trimmer like you describe but it only goes down to a certain point. It can be used without the guard, but that's pretty rough to use on a scalp. I was looking for something along the lines of a beard "stubble trimmer". Just wondered if anyone used one and had a suggestion.

What I am talking about is for hair. It has no guard. Just like the one the barber uses. I shave my head with it. Much more surface area then your beard trimmer most likely also.
