  1. As an update for Nordic Tube users.

Beveling (in my case a Dremel polished bevel) the front end of the factory Mossberg tube will allow you to hand cycle using the Nordic Tube.

Thanks to Nordic Comp for finding the fix with an indirect thanks to Benny Hill because he's the one who told them how he fixes it.

    Any pics of that?

Sorry, I'm really bad about taking pics when I do fixes like this. It's really simple though if you've got at least some basic experience polishing with a Dremel. It really did not require much.

Just not sure the area you are talking about. Is there a lip your beveling off?

  3. Paul jr can't do anything by himself. He is all show and no go, and about the whiniest 37 year old I ever saw on tv. He is a spoiled brat. And his intitled attitude shows that. If it wasn't for his dad he would have nothing including the hot girlfriend. If you can't appreciate what jj built you too are caught up in the tv smoke screen. I loved when jj did the mock you tube "vote for me" video. I also love how it seems pld spends more time on making tshirts then bikes that don't run. Its just a popularity contest as pjd was leading before the bikes were even done, because all the little kiddies thing he's so kool. Even sr was laughing when jj called pj out about his junk bike. A pretty piece of junk is still a piece of junk, even if it sparkles

  4. I have had the same issues with mixed brass and Winchester primers using the 650. There's up to a 5% failure rate out of Glocks, CZ's and S&W. I have not had any failure to fire problems when using my 550 or the Square Deal. I was hoping someone had some insight into what is happening and how to remedy it.

    Thanks,

    Nick

Maybe slow down and get good pulls on the press? I make sure I feel each primer seating and if it felt like it sat funny I take a sec and look at it. Also I do a final inspection for high primers before I bag them.

  5. I just picked mine up last night also. Mine was just made mid november and much better fit and finish then the 935 I saw at walmart. Seems lite quite a deal for 400 bucks. Only complaint is the plastic retainer for the gas system came broken from factory. Would be a nice peice for a company to make a alloy one since it seems pretty flimsy. I was also wondering about the mag extension tube retainer but it must be easy since there are no threads on this issue.

  6. Im picking up my 930 today. Are there any tips on 1st initial cleaning of it you guys could give? Or is it covered in the manuel pretty good? This will be my first semi-auto, so any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  7. 50 deg...lol..thats a warm sunny day

Yup, it's all relative. The flip side is I have shot in 104 degrees and about 80% humidity. That's an extreme but, I'll take the heat over the cold any day.

I think about 75 and overcast is about a perfect shooting day for me.

    thanks,

    Keith

Love the 70's ..the problem where I live is it goes from having to shoot in 100 deg in august to shooting in 20 to 30 deg in winter. Seems like we get both sides of the extreme around here.

and lately alot less of the good transitional temps. it goes from way hot to way cold

  8. I heard the director from last year was fired by amc and they cut funds for this season. That might be why we didn't see as much action

Nope, the show is based on a comic book by the same name. A buddy of mine from work has everything that has been released so far and he loaned me the first couple. Can't get into 'em mainly because I'm reading other stuff right now. Anyway, a couple quotes from the... author?

"With the walking dead I want to explore how people deal with extreme situations and how these events change them."

"To me, the best zombie movies aren't the splatter fests of gore and violence with goofy characters and tounge in cheak antics. Good zombie movies show us how messed up we are, they make us question of station in society... and our societys sation in the world."

This is a people show with zombies in it.

So you know that last seasons director didn't get fired?
