  1. So I got the uncaptured guide rod kit from wolff for the m&p 45. Guide rod looks great, 14lb spring feels awesome. They also sent a replacement striker spring with each recoil spring. Took my striker apart to switch it out and the stock one was over an inch longer, soooo called them back and turns out they were sending the shorter springs which are for the 9/40/357 with all their kits and basically told me "whoops our bad, tough luck, we sent you the wrong spring but we don't make the other one". Sooo looking for a striker spring for my pistol without dealing with smith, any suggestions?
  2. looking for a reduced power recoil spring for the m&p 45, know that i can use the whole wolff spring system but would rather find one for the captured system. any ideas? about to call ismi and see what they have for me....
  3. thats great! def looking to add an ounce or two and finally finishing my cdp/limited 10 baby.
  4. Any headway with having them ready for sale? How did they do at nationals?
  5. Does anyone happen to know difference in construction, finish used between m&p 45 and pro, 9, whatever? My pros mags are a dull black but others I've had were blued and it seems like all my 45s mags are stainless with some sort of coating? Anyone have a clue? Would like to re finish my mags and trying to find a starting point, gonna try to polish the s*** out of one of the 14rd mags that I never use and see what I get.
  6. I'm sure you will, can we get some "look at me i've got this sweet magwell and you dont" pics? good luck tomorrow.
  7. I hate being a pest.....but I NEED them! any closer?
  8. with some very light polishing that trigger improves tremendously, wouldn't worry about it being considered a trigger job per say, more like accelerated normal wear. my production gun which is a pro with some easy trigger work is breaking around 1.5 lbs without changing springs or a new sear. all i attribute that to is a kick ass gun smith and burwell's guide:) Many thanks for the reply, shasta. Good to know that simple polishing isn't restricted then - looked all through the documentation and nothing was clear on that. I know that outside the US, IPSC rules are a bit more stringent...so as long as you don't mess with the trigger weight. 'Accelerated wear', I like the sound of that i would def. still check with a local range officer for a clarification but i would def think it would fall into one of those "gray" areas.
