  1. II get 21 in my mags with the Dawson pads, all other parts are Para factory. 21 is tight, but they fit and feed.

Did you get the longer mag spring from Dawson as well. Maybe mine just need to be broken in a little. And is that 21 reloadable?

Not reloadable with 21 on my mags. It takes some doing to get it seated.

21+1 startable on 2 mags and 20 reloadable on both. 20+1 startable and 19 reloadable on 2 more mags. Same parts on both sets.

  2. Nice feature.

Another nice feature I noticed was the match results for all the matches I shot since 10/2010 on the match results page of USPSA.org.

Great feature. I don't have to dig for what I have shot.

Posted at the same time as Rob. I was going to say now to get all the local clubs to upload their results every time...

  3. Welcome Watchtower.

Sparta USPSA should shoot this Saturday & is the most southern Illinois section club.

PASA in Barry, IL should have a club match this Sunday if you are central enough to make that.

There are other central Illinois clubs with matches & some in St. Louis as well.

PM me if you would like more information on the matches.

  4. There is a USPSA match at Lefthanders Gun Club in Loami, IL just near Springfield, up I-55 this weekend if you are willing to travel a bit to shoot.

We will be shooting 5 stages and a classifier the round count is 125.

Saturday setup crew shoots for $10.00 setup starts at 8 am. (You must help setup to shoot Saturday.)

Sunday is $15.00 sign up at 8 am reshoots are always $5.00

There are a couple of guys from around the Belleville area that usually drive up to shoot the match.

One of the guys on here (I believe from around Belleville) administers a shooting forum for the St. Louis area.

I have more information about central Illinois USPSA matches if you are interested in traveling north for local matches. I think membership at Arnold is your best bet for a lot of shooting.

I have heard a lot of good things about Arnold. Only shot there once because of the 3 shoots rule.

    Good Shooting & Welcome!

  5. I use red. I recently switched to green to give it a try. I switched back pretty quick. I shoot a weekly indoor match where the lighting isn't all that great in some areas & I couldn't see the green fiber at all in there. I melted a big old blob so I could see it, but it just didn't work for me.

  6. I don't recall any, but everyone on the squad was working & not looking for cameras. I thought someone with a video camera may have interviewed him briefly. (Other than the squad photo which may be on his camera.)

I really enjoyed the match. It was hard not to with such a great squad.

  7. Sorry to hear all this Mr. Boudrie.

I commiserate with this unfortunate occurance as someone who has experience with the notification failure of multiple hard drive failures in a Raid 5 array that had no hot spares due to budgetary & other resource issues. It stinks when the failsafes you put into place to prevent this exact situation do not work as they should. Raid 5 plus hot spares are nice when the budget & resources allocated allow for it. Occurrences like this tend to expand the budget and fill in the holes in the processes.

It is unfortunate that it was one the few scheduled times of the year that the Nationals bound folks would really become aware that the web site was down. A lot a major sites have gone down unexpectedly.

Good luck (especially with the restore, there are usually problems with unrehearsed restores.) Your work is appreciated.
