  1. I picked one up from Gearcraft Holsters. Very happy with it, excellent quality and very durable. http://gearcraftholsters.com/cz-scorpion-magazine/
  2. I never got bites until I started shooting a 2011 and moved my grip a little higher up on the pistol, now it seems like I get bitten all the time : /
  3. I did my first one with a dremel and ended up removing way too much material. Second time I used a file and a series of sandpaper and it looks like it was done professionally. I'd say unless you have very steady hands, the files will be much more forgiving.
  4. Before I picked up my SV, I was shooting a Glock 34 in limited. It was a lot of fun and considering you'll need a new holster, mags, pouches, possibly a belt I'd say it's best to keep your costs down before you decide it's what you really want to do. That being said if you have a large piggy bank, a 2011 feels like a Ferrari compared to a Glock...
  5. I've shot a 1911, Glock 34 and SV 2011. I had a lot of fun with all of them and each gives you a different challenge, I feel like I have to baby the SV whereas the Glock and 1911 I'm never affraid to just unload with. I like to use different guns every once in a while just for a little bit of variety.
  6. Congrats on your first match! Hope you didn't need all that extra time and money you're about to lose.
  7. I have the Dawson on my Springfield Loaded and I think it's awesome. http://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDeta...0001-1149712617 Easy to install and has a good sight picture.
  8. I used to shoot sigs all the time at the range, but once I started competing, the double action started getting to me. One of these days I'll pick up a 220 SAO and give that one a shot. ..pun intended!
  9. +1 for the Ghost! .... Blade-tech for the production stuff!
  10. +1 for CR Speed. I haven't tried anything else, ignorance is bliss!
  11. As far as I know, CR Speed only sells their stuff as a set, but if you didn't mind mixing it up a bit, Safariland sells inner and outer belts separately. You can pick these up all over the place, I like speedshooter.com
