I have been shooting the Atlanta Arms and Ammo 9mm major and I am about to start gathering everything I need to load it so I will be able to practice more. Dose anyone know of a good load? I am shooting a STI Tru Bore. Thanks

I just got a new Leupold for my 20" AR, but I had to go with a set of Millet rings for the mounting. As long as I use some loctite, should I be ok running a multigun match with these or should I save the money for a Larue? Im concerned about the scope losing sight during a match. Thanks, Blake

Very true...but I would really like to EARN the spot. If I shoot nationals I want it to be because I fought my way there, not because I was on a waiting list and am going because somebody else gave away their slot. I'm not cutting on anyone who goes from the waiting list, it's just something I want I guess. See the above comment about the "Young, dumb...." thing. --Lanzo You did beat me though. I came in 3rd place in C class. It was my first big match as well and I am still a junior.

I sir...am a jackass. I'm sure that guy is fast too though LMAO --Lanzo yea...I'm not quite on his level just yet.. ..and a few years his junior, but I did walk away with 3rd in my division!

Can you shoot factory ammo through a STI Tru Bore (9mm). If so, which brand would you recommend. I will be using it for practice. Thanks

Looks like Im in Squad 24!

ok...just so I'm clear on how these types of matches run. I can classify with BOTH my limited gun and my open gun? How is the match run? Will shooters shoot one course of fire, then change guns and shoot the same again, but in a different class or will it be a round robin of sorts by class? Ms. Linda, Thanks for the post about the weather. We are coming in the night before and weren't sure how it (the match) would be handled. Blake

I just got my STI Trubor and I'm ready to begin making some loads for it. Does anyone have any good recipes I can use for a starting point to make 9mm Major? Thanks, Blake

I have a STI edge and I have been having a lot of FTEs. I have tuned the extractor and this problem is still happening. Can you recommend a good aftermarket extractor or a solution to fix mine. Thanks

I would like to also thank everyone involved with this match. I had a great time and learned so much information from everyone! I felt a little intimidated before the event being one of the only juniors there and being my first 3 gun event, but my squad ended that quickly! Thats the problem Im running into. I cant find the hole that is being referred to in the manual. I have taken the slide off of the gun and I and working on the guide rod itself. Blake

I am trying to break down and clean my edge but I just cant find a way to get the guide rod out. Any suggestions.

I am a junior limited shooter and I have just recently obtained all of my reloading equipment. I have a few questions: 1. Where is the best place to get bullets/supplies? Brass isnt an issue for me, but Im paying $24.00/100 locally for bullets. 2. I just got an STI edge. Does anyone have any good recipes that I could start with? Thanks in advance for any help! Blake
