  1. Thanks to everyone for a great time today! This was my first major match and I had such a great time and, as always, learned a lot of information. I hope to see and shoot with everyone again soon! Blake
  2. For anyone fortunate enough to have been shooting today... Did the range seem to be draining well or should I plan on bringing my waders tomorrow... Blake
  3. The hotels have the usual options within driving distance. The range is located in the middle of the Georgia foothills and their are no restaurants within a reasonable distance, but as Mark has said, the 'weenie woman' will be there to serve up a little food!
  4. If you are coming in from the north on I85 South the best route will be: I85 South to Hwy 20 West to Buford, GA Take 20 West to Cumming, GA Hop on GA400 North towards Dahlonega, GA Take GA400N to Hwy 369 West Take Hwy 369 West to Yellow Creek Road Turn right on Yellow Creek Road Drive until you see the RBGC sign on the right. or If you are coming in on I985 South: Take Hwy 369 (through Gainesville) West all the way to GA 400. Cross GA 400 Continue on Hwy 369 West to Yellow Creek Road Turn right on Yellow Creek Road Drive until you see the RBGC sign on the right. Safe trips for everyone and good luck!
  5. The bays are a mixture of gravel and grass. The ends of the bays, where the staging and sitting areas are, are primarily gravel, while the shooting areas are mostly grass. They would seem to drain quickly as well... Thanks, Blake. Cleats? With the weather forcast being as it is, I will be bringing mine! Blake

  7. Blake, There are several hotels on Garners Ferry Rd, just off of I-77 about 4 exits from the range. Lots of restaurants in the area. There is a new Sleep Inn hotel on that exit. I think there is a HI Express there too and a couple of others. I'll try to get some info on them in the next day or two. Thanks!
  8. Just registered! See yall there! Any recommendations on good hotels in the area? We're probaly coming in on Friday.
  9. Daniel, Thanks so much for the pictures and for your instruction at the camp. I learned so much information and had a great time! Thanks so much for the 3 gun tips as well. Blake
  10. Junior like any other category requires a certain amount of participation but judging from the company you appear to be keeping in the photo, looks like you can shoot with the big boys! Thanks for the nice comments; that was an opportunity of a lifetime... I just sent in my application. Hope to see everyone there! Blake
  11. Thinking about participating in this. Is there a junior class?
  12. The guys Blake and Daniel More of the guys The man! The team
  13. Folks this is some great advice! Atlanta traffic is completely unpredictable...even on the weekends! Get here early!
  14. Thanks for the information!
  15. I just got back from the camp yesterday and I had a blast. The team was great, Mr. Leatham was great, and FT. Benning was so cool. I met Nick, Trevor, Adrian, Danny, Shane, Tori, Kelsey and a whole bunch of other really great lifelong friends! Thanks so much to The Gibsons, The USAMU and USPSA for holding this camp. I will be writing all of the sponsors this week! Blake Manning
  16. Thanks. I had the great opportunity to go to the junior camp this past weekend and shoot with some of the members of the USAMU. I got to meet Rob Leatham as well! I had a blast and learned a lot of great skills.
  17. Thanks for all of the replies. Down the road I will be shooting some lead and since I reload already I wanted to make the change. Looks like I will be checking into the KKM. Thanks again, Blake
  18. I am getting ready to build up my Glock 35 and I want to begin by replacing the stock barrel with a new barrel. I just began reloading and I shoot in the junior USPSA division weekly so I put many rounds through my gun weekly. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks! Blake
