If you use federal primers, and want a lighter DA trigger pull, try the 8.5# main spring.
My friend and I (both 1911/2011 shooters) found that we were shooting high right. After a week of dry fire practice, I cured that.

Get the short reset trigger stuff.
If you want to lighten the DA pull with a lighter mainspring, look at an extended firing pin.

I was a week late, but I asked if they had 231, and they did last week. Too bad I live an hour from this shop and only stop by when passing through.

Found some today at Fin Feather Fur in Boardman, Ohio 1#, 4# and 8# jugs
-
They also had plenty of Fed primers too. They had more in the storage area behind those doors.

You might have time, there looks to be 3 left.Hm. Maybe I can sell a rifle quick...
-
Just saw Oakhill has them.
They have 5 in stock.

I have no affiliation with them, just looking at their website.

Looks like it. Congrats!!! It should make it to your FFL by the weekend.
-
Still new to the game, but think I'm doing well for only having time to shoot matches.

Yes, the 85 combat is legal85 C is the 85 Combat?
Production legal?
-
Its calling your name.
2 friends in CA have recently ordered from Oakhill. One got an Accu Shadow, and the other a SP01 Custom Shadow.

That's my USPSA Production rig. I don't shoot IDPA
-
I run CR Speed pouches and MecGar 17rd mags.
If you can pass the dowel test, you can swap the adjustment knob to the inside and be IDPA legal too. I just like the CR Speed because they work for a few different mags should I switch platforms

There are 2 ACCU shadows on the block now. The SP01 version and the 75 ACCU lite. The only difference is the ACCU will have the bushing in it, and a stainless guide rod cup.
Other than that it looks identical to a 75 Shadow.
Perhaps I am not following the thread correctly and not withstanding other enhancements but an Accu Shadow has a full length frame and says Shadow SP01 on the slide.
Yes, I used to own a CZC Accu Shadow SP-01.

LGS has 1#, 4# and 8# jugs of 231.
I didn't buy any as I have ~12# of 231/hp38 left, and they were on the high side compared to the other shop I get it from.
-
Only International Clays in an 4# (8#?) jug
-
Was at the LGS (Stockers in Warren Ohio) yesterday and had a bunch of powder. This was only part of it, had plenty of Hodgdon powder
-
If it originally came with adjustable sights, that sight cut us an LPA cut. If it has fixed sights, its a Novak cut.
If its a Novak cut, you will have to fit the sight to the slide buy taking ~.005" off the sight dovetail.

I use the B&J Machine P500. Been using it for 10+ years with various guns.
-
I use slide-glide lite for the slide rails.
