  1. if it were me and it was for USPSA I'd buy the CGW pro package Shadow ($1375) and then send it to CZC for an accu bushing upgrade so it'll basically be an accu shadow with the nice CGW sear and disco in it.

Second option would be a CZC or mink accu-shadow.

If it were for USPSA Production Division, would adding the accu bushing be an allowable modification? It's my understanding that you can buy an AccuShadow for Prod Div, but not create from from an existing Shadow.

Cannot add the Accu bushing afterwards.

  2. So what's the verdict, will they fit the15 round mags?

    Yes

So I assume from Scott's post before I should order the pads for the 17 round Mecgars to fit my 15 round mags? Just want to make sure before I order.
    Yep

BTW, I just got my red set (MG17) today

  3. For that pull weight you will need to go light on the mainpspring.

CGW 8.5 will get the DA there. Will be Fed primer only and you'll need to pay attention the primer depth

I'm using the 8.5# spring and my DA is ~4.5#

Not sure on the depth, I just make sure the primers are well seated.

    As for OAL, I run MG 124JHP @ 1.095"

  4. I realize that the CZC Short Reset Trigger System ($135) is hand-fitted, but how much shorter is the reset in SA compared to the Pre-B Disconnector?

And if your gun doesn't have a CZC trigger job, add that cost to the $135.
  5. Did I hear right that CZ Custom is trying to get the CZ 75 CTS LS-P SA/DA 9mm 91710 approved for USPSA Production? If so that would be a my next purchase once it gets approved.

Yeah, heard that too (7:40 mark)

Said he's hoping to get the CTS LS-B approved since it fits in the box.

    CZ MAGS

It all depends on your use.

I didn't like the 18rd SP01 due to weak mag springs (base plate slid off a few times during reloads) and cost. I sold the 3 I had and used the money to pay for some of the CZC mags.

CZC plated mags are REALLY nice. I got my set pre-owned with the ShockBottle pads installed, but just swapped them out for Springer pads. The plated mags are slick and drop out of the gun the easiest.

I found a deal on the MecGar 17rd AFC. I haven't had issues with them. I have Springer pads on the way.

MecGar 19rd mags don't fit in the box.

If you can't tell, I like the Springer pads. The contour matches the grip better, I can get them engraved, can get a few different colors and are priced right.

Here's all the different mags I have.

If cost wasn't a factor, the plated mags.

The economical buy are the MG17AFC.

If I didn't find the deal on the plated mags, I probably wouldn't have bought them.

With that being said, the plated mags are my main match mags.

    CZ MAGS

Go rid of my 18rd CZ mags for MecGar mags. The CZC mags had Shock Bottle pads, but replacing them with Springer pads

The plated mags are nice, but the AFC mags aren't bad either. The plated are nice and slick.
