CZ 75 Upper?
in CZ
Buy the Accu top end and have a less expensive Accu Lite
-
-
The stock STI polymer is ~.230" and the Infinity is ~.250"
-
If you reload, use Fed SPP and get a 8.5# main spring. The DA will be under 5#, mine is 4.5#
-
Are you going to shoot IDPA or USPSA?
If IDPA, who knows if they will say that the Target is illegal.
-
Because slide has to get milled for the bushing and is no longer how the gun left the factory. But then not production legal
Why wouldn't it be production legal.....as long as the part is on another cz production gun the part can be put on the non accu shadow
-
~4.5# DA on my Accu Shadow with 8.5# spring and Fed SPP
No issues.
-
They were back in stock a few days ago. Looks like 3 left

Got this at Great Lakes Outdoors in Bainbridge, OH for $19.99
Patience pays off. Wasn't going to pay $28/Lb at Stockers for 231.

If the Accu Shadow isn't legal, (due to milling for bushing and CZC nit being an OEM) the Target wouldn't be legal because the slide is milled for the rear sight. The Shadow Target should be IDPA legal for SSP because CZ Custom modifies the gun and then it's sold through the CZ dealer network as a new CZ. Don't see how that's any different from CZC being a sub-contractor to a CZ production gun.
The ACCU Shadow is different in that I cannot buy it from any CZ dealer. Not that I think this makes any difference. It seems that who does the work is as important to IDPA as what is being produced.
I bought my Accu Shadow from a dealer, it was just sitting on the shelf. I stopped at that particular shop because they had 2 Czechmates on the shelf a few months before and I was hoping they had one left.
Oak hill seems to get them on a regular basis and sell out in a day or 2.

Will have to see how it plays out. CZ-USA is a sponsor for Nationals.
-
Doesn't say anything about being OEM in the rules:
8.2.1.1.1. Have a minimum annual production of 2,000 units. Discontinued models must have had a total production of 20,000 units.
-
Good thing I chose USPSA instead of IDPA.
-
Good thing I don't play in IDPA. LOLI picked mine up last Sunday. I am not sure if that was the last one, but it is a fantastic handgun. I got a chance to shot it a little yesterday and I can't believe how great this gun feels and shoots. I plan on shooting this gun in USPSA production, but would like to get a confirmed answer whether it is legal for SSP and ESP division in IDPA.
Rumors for IDPA was....it was, it wasnt, it was, and now it's it not again.

Finally got my throat reamer that was on backorder from Brownells. I took about 3 full turns to get .100" more OAL on a new 1911/2011 barrel for a build I'm doing. Easy to do and will be doing my CZ so I only have 1 load for all my 9mm's.

Accu Shadow
in CZ
SSP legal too
-
The Zev reducer with a tungsten extended guide rod and the Jager that came with a G34 that I bought.
-
I don't think the 2011 model year came with the short reset trigger
-
Maybe his bench/desk seat also has a built in john
Or maybe he wears Depends.
-
The Accu Shadow that I picked up was on the dealers shelf for 6 months before I snagged it. It was $1599 and had I known it was on the shelf for so long, I would've seen if I could get more $ off, but even with tax, it was about the same as buying online, having it shipped and FFL fees.
If you want expensive, look at the stuff Salient Arms is putting out.
-
You forgot the Accu Shadow BLK $1850. This is what the OP was looking at.CZCustom SP01 Shadow Black 2014 $1300 - http://czcustom.com/shadowcustom2014blk.aspx
CZCustom SP01 ACCU Shadow Black $1665 - http://czcustom.com/cz75sp01accushadow.aspx
I'm not sure what you see?

Had a Glock 34 that I was going to use for production, but found a CZ Accu Shadow, which is what I use.CZ. They seem to be taking over production division.
